The GLP-1 revolution is real. Spoke with a good friend today. He and his wife have been on Mounjaro for a year. He's no longer T2D, has dropped 70 pounds, and all his labs are in the normal range. He's titrated down to a 2.5mg weekly dose, eating right, exercising, and they're living a healthy, happy lifestyle.

I've had a lot of people ask what the Peptide Genetics Report actually looks like. So I walked through both versions. The wellness report you get, and the clinical report your doctor gets. 12 categories scored. 7 CYP enzymes analyzed. 25 peptides assessed across 3 evidence tiers with real citations. It's not a questionnaire. It's built from your raw genetic data, and it keeps getting better as new research drops. $250. Saliva kit. Two minutes.

@paulb3rd I enjoy your post and videos. More importantly, as a noob, I learn from them. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.

If you want a social media dopamine hit today try this instead. Give someone an unsolicited but deserved compliment. It’s way more fulfilling than arguing with some random stranger you’ve never met. You’ll make both your day and theirs better.

@brentlajeunesse I suspect you’re fine. For me, one drink is like the old ads for Lays Potato Chips. And, as Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) says in Magnum Force, “A man's gotta know his limitations.” For me, booze leads to unhealthy decisions.

Today marks 140 days without alcohol. That decision has been a huge contributor to my improved health and fitness. To be honest, I don’t miss it and have no desire to have even a sip.

If you buy a quality barbell and take care of it, you can legitimately leave it as an inheritance to your children. This is how you deep clean after years of use. For daily maintenance, I recommend using 3-in-1 Oil with a brass or nylon-bristle brush, depending on the finish.

@DigitalFringed1 Mike, you forgot to add the appropriate salutation. In this case, either, Dear Asshole, or, Dear Shit for Brains would demonstrate proper etiquette.

First off, your view on assisted pullups is retarded at best. 2nd, your opinions about MY country are invalidated. You are from Nigeria. Worry about the shit hole you live in. Lastly, I served my country, so I know what my forefathers think of me. What have you done? Fuck off kindly you shit stain Mike Appy

Your ancestors endured war, pain, and sacrifice… and somehow their legacy led to this? A grown man who needs a whole machine just to lift his own body weight. Men before you were out there surviving battlefields with missing limbs and still pushing forward and you’re struggling with pull-ups on assisted mode. Honestly, if they could see you now, they’d probably be wondering what exactly all that suffering was for.

@nateyamasaki @PGC1a_RB @paulb3rd In my earlier life and careers. I met quite a few well known individuals. Some were just as genuine and kind as their public persona. Some were complete egotistical jerks.

Never meet your heros / ideal role models I remember listening to @paulb3rd talk about meeting Lou ferrigno and how it completely changed his view on him as a role model One of my clients, JB, ran the Monster 300 mile in Arizona this past month JB is an outlier, hormones, athleticism, strength He could physique build or run ultras Fast foward to the race, he came in heavily prepped, did the training + recovery Not regular ready, tactical spreadsheet ready for months upon months I watched him on the live tracker, then noticed he DNF'd Concerned as I though he may have been injured, what really happened made my blood boil JB came across a runner in full rhabdomyolysis during the 22 mile in the middle of nowhere leg Prior military training kicked in, he triaged not just him, but two more individuals that were not prepared and possibly would have died Shared his water and electrolytes + adding too much time to the point he DNF'd His former ultra running 'heros' ran past these men, including two NSW men that needed assitance The organization thanked him, another 'elite' running told him as he ran past JB, 'You're a good man', however didn't stop to lend a hand I get the competitiveness, there's nowhere in the race packet that says you have to triage downed runners But it says a lot about a human who runs past another human in complete rhabdomyolysis Maybe Paul is right Never meet your heros, it's one thing to be human, it's another to be a piece of shit

@DigitalFringed1 Thanks, Mike. One of the better decisions I’ve made in life. And, as so many have found and trials have confirmed, GLP-1s reduce/eliminate some “desires.” I’ve lost my desire for alcohol and sweets.

Saturday’s are Zepbound injection day. That means Friday night my digestion is at its fastest. Tonight I ate a 10 oz ribeye. First steak of any kind I’ve had since last September. It was bloody rare and delicious. Stormy was the beneficiary of all the fat I trimmed off. Tomorrow it’s back to chicken and rice.

The most simple things in life should bring you the most joy… It’s in those things you find God is the loudest. A sunset A walk in Nature Holding someone you loves hand A child’s giggle Eye contact & a smile The way you feel after a dip in the ocean A sip of coffee & good book The soft crackle a fire makes The way the Sun feels on your skin A bird singing for you A small midnight drive A bee buzz tickling your ear An I miss you text The sound of the Rain Laughing so hard you cry Life fills you with these things… Everything else is just karmic bonus.

Dear @USPSHelp: According to your tracking system, over the last five days, a package of mine has gone back and forth between Grand Junction, CO, and Craig, CO twice. I am in Craig, and the package is now back in Grand Junction. No attempts have been made to actually deliver the package to my home. The Craig Post Office has just sent it back to Grand Junction each time. Can you help?
