15 REASONS your VIBE CODED app will FAIL in production :
Here's the FULL BREAKDOWN !
1/ it only works on your laptop
> never tested on another device, browser, or clean environment
> works on your machine is not a green light
> test on at least 3 different setups before you ship
2/ the .env has 20 variables nobody documented
> new deployment = guessing game
> expect a 2-hour debugging session at go-live
> document every variable, what it does, and where to get it
3/ entire app runs on one server with no backup plan
> server goes down, app goes down
> no failover, no recovery path
> single point of failure is not an architecture
4/ youve never seen what happens when the API is slow
> no loading states, no error states
> users see a blank screen and assume its broken
> simulate slow responses locally before launch
5/ you have no monitoring or alerts
> first sign something is wrong is a user complaint
> by then the damage is already done
> set up basic uptime monitoring before day one
6/ app runs on a free tier with no upgrade plan
> first real traffic spike hits the memory or connection limit
> app crashes in front of your first real users
> know your limits and have a paid plan ready
7/ youve never done a load test
> 10 concurrent users, response time goes from 200ms to 12 seconds
> you find out live, not in staging
> run a basic load test before you call it production-ready
8/ theres no process manager
> app crashes, server stays up, app just stays dead
no restart, no notification, nothing
> use PM2 or a equivalent, this takes 10 minutes to set up
9/ your database has no backups
> one bad migration or accidental DELETE; data gone with no recovery path
> automate backups before a single user touches your app
10/ you haven't tested the payment flow end to end with a real card
> most common launch-day failure; "everything works except the actual payment" LOL
> test the full checkout flow with a real card, not just stripe test mode
11/ secrets managed by SSHing into the server and editing manually
> one server rebuild means hunting every env variable from memory
> you'll miss one, something will break, you wont know why
> use a proper secrets manager or at minimum a documented vault
12/ you've never looked at production error logs
> theres a silent failure happening right now
> you just don't know about it
> check your logs before launch, not after something breaks
13/ theres no staging environment
> every change goes directly to production
> every bug hits real users first
> staging is not optional, its the minimum
14/ you've never tested on mobile
> you built it on a desktop
> 60% of your users are on their phone
> open it on your phone right now, you'll find 3 bugs instantly
15/ you built it in a week and AI wrote most of it
> you understand maybe 60% of the codebase
that 40% is a ticking time bomb
> audit the parts you don't understand before they audit your LIFE when the app falls apart

@davidcafor What are your main hacks? I heard the Claude leak was also useful for ASO?
English

ASO is actual magic if you get it right.
Last week: 1-2 sales/day (maybe 5 if lucky).
Last 48h: 25-35 sales/day.
I’m honestly mind-blown by the jump.
The only thing holding me back from a total moonshot? Getting users to leave reviews.
It’s a struggle, but we’re getting there.
Off to a good start today with sale #1 already in!

@Robin_Builds_AI Hi Robin, Andras here: running an agency, and building products on the side.
Happy to connect with likeminded folks! 👋

OpenAI studied 700M users. 73% never use ChatGPT for work.
Only 27% of usage is work-related. 73% is personal.
That gap keeps growing.
Three use cases dominate 77% of all conversations:
1. Practical guidance like tutoring and how-to advice
2. Seeking information as a search replacement
3. Writing and editing documents
Programming accounts for just 4.2% of messages.
The coding hype doesn't match real behavior.
Most writing requests aren't generating new content.
Two-thirds are editing existing text.
Nearly half of all interactions are people asking for advice on decisions.
Not completing tasks. Not chatting.
Just thinking through problems with a second brain.
Early users were 80% male. Now the split is nearly even.
The fastest adoption growth is happening in lower-income countries, not tech hubs.
This is the largest study of chatbot behavior ever published.

@jordan_ross_8F Love these stories! Annoying that Europe and RoW are so far behind US on voice agents - ppl put the phone down instantly if they suspect it’s AI
English

There are 33 million businesses in the US with a physical storefront.
Every single one misses calls every day & rhey know it's happening.
That's $500B+ in ARR sitting on the table — if you can sell them an AI that answers the phone.
I know because my clients have collectively sold services to hundreds of thousands of local businesses.
And right now? They're all saying the same thing:
This is the easiest sale they've ever seen.
No long sales cycle.
No complicated pitch.
Just: "How many calls did you miss this week? What does that cost you?"
Then you show them the math.
An AI receptionist costs $30-50/month to run.
You charge $300-500/month.
Then you begin selling more services on top of that.
AI receptionist
Ads & GEO
AI CRM
And once a business relies on AI for their calls — they don't cancel.
I built out the entire system.
Tech stack, client onboarding, FAQ brain, pricing at scale, 5-week rollout plan.
Mapped it into a free playbook you can start with today.
Comment "calls" and I'll send it over.

@MartinTale I have! Reaching my engineering limits on a complex agentic system atm, thinking of bringing additional ppl in. Investor capital already locked in 🙏

EverFeatured just crossed $160+ MRR
Still small, but it's proof people actually find value in what I’m building.
No hacks. Just shipping, learning, and improving every day.
