ASO is actual magic if you get it right. Last week: 1-2 sales/day (maybe 5 if lucky). Last 48h: 25-35 sales/day. I’m honestly mind-blown by the jump. The only thing holding me back from a total moonshot? Getting users to leave reviews. It’s a struggle, but we’re getting there. OpenAI studied 700M users. 73% never use ChatGPT for work. Only 27% of usage is work-related. 73% is personal. That gap keeps growing. Three use cases dominate 77% of all conversations: 1. Practical guidance like tutoring and how-to advice 2. Seeking information as a search replacement 3. Writing and editing documents Programming accounts for just 4.2% of messages. The coding hype doesn't match real behavior. Most writing requests aren't generating new content. Two-thirds are editing existing text. Nearly half of all interactions are people asking for advice on decisions. Not completing tasks. Not chatting. Just thinking through problems with a second brain. Early users were 80% male.
