Right now HY spreads are still historically tight → so credit isn't confirming the MOVE panic yet. Bond vol is screaming structural risk while credit and equities are in denial. That's a tension trade, not a confirmed breakdown yet. MOVE tightens liquidity → VIX eventually follows → spreads widen → BTC gets hit last. Bitcoin sits downstream of all three. The sequence matters more than any single reading.

Fewer breakout/breakdown setups is the message of the market. It is saying times are tough, don't force it. If you are reading that message correctly, you will be more willing to take less frequent but better quality setups.

How come it seems like over the last 15 years, every time after oil bottomed and broke out to the upside, #Bitcoin parabolic move follows shortly afterwards?

Below the 200-day average, I am more leaning towards taking short setups.

Bitcoin has been very resilient in recent weeks, and we can see below how the 52-week Z-score has been recovering (along with ETH) while the rest of the asset class spectrum has been weakening. The outlier there of course are commodities (BCOM).
