Irish people need to not get offended over this and understand we do market ourselves as moral arbiters on foreign policy issues. And that's good. We should do so because of our unique position
But we also have to actually live up to that standard if we want to make these claims

There is no “campaign against Ireland.” Ireland singled itself out. And yes, other European countries also supply Russia with critical raw materials, microelectronics, and other resources that help Russia sustain its genocidal war against Ukraine. But you cannot spend months lecturing the world about morality, sanctions, and doing business with countries accused of killing civilians, while simultaneously helping sustain trade that benefits Russia’s war machine. When you claim the moral high ground, people start looking at what you’re actually doing, and the level of double standards and hypocrisy simply blows their minds.
