Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Chapter 2 ✅
That was a very mixed chapter with lots of little story threads and character progression all mixed in. The city of Ruan had a distinct seaside town feel to it and the school was a nice touch
My biggest gripe is that half the scenes with dialogue are often half voiced? Like some of the characters will be fully voiced in a scene and others aren’t? It’s really weird

Obviously The Witcher has 40x the story and characterization, but I genuinely think Crimson Desert has one of the all-time best video game world sandboxes ever

@SynthPotato Nintendo commonly gets rated on a Nintendo level rating system. So games that would be seen as mediocre on consoles like an Xbox on PlayStation get overrated because of them being on worse hardware and because of Nintendo bias over the years.

I’ll always find it strange how bad writing is seen as a massive issue for Crimson Desert but Breath of the Wild and TOTK both get away with having the most basic, generic writing and boring storytelling.

@BringBackBanjoK Just saying the Witcher 3 was incredible from the beginning especially narratively the problem is people forget that open world games used to genuinely have amazing stories from start to finish. Crimson desert doesn’t have that leading to it feeling boring at the start.
