@Garbongulus993 @Zennistrad @TheDougFiles That comment was meant to piss you off. But to say it bluntly; Hollywood telling you “This is what The Bad Guys want you to think” is the same as demanding conformity to the opposite of what the Alien Invaders are shown to demand.

@LordAhmduskwood @HMBohemond Further, daemons in 40k are parts of the respective gods. So since Kairos is a Daemon of Tzeentch, he is a part of Tzeentch. But since we are told that Kairos knows things Tzeentch does not, this would mean that Tzeentch knows things Tzeentch does not know. Does this make sense?

@LordAhmduskwood @HMBohemond The Well of Eternity is a specific location in the Warp - a part of Tzeentch's Crystal Labyrinth in AoS and the Center of all Existence in 40k - not a "layer" or "Deeper Part" of the Warp.

The Emperor knew gods were real and that he himself could become one, but didn't want to. He knew religion is legitimate and faith had actual tangible power. He didn't want that power. That's why he outlawed it. By definition that is not atheism, the lack of belief in the divine. You cannot be atheist if you know the divine is real. And now, he's embracing that power as it's the only path humanity has left. Thanks for proving you didn't read the lore. A common mistake among your kind.

In the 90s, the German “green” party is founded and is, for some bewildering reason, vehemently anti-nuclear; people eventually found out that that’s because they were heavily funded by Russia, which, reasonably, wants Europe to rely on their oil. Today it’s China, trying to weaken America as a whole, and increase our reliance on their allies. Less than 1/5th of U.S. oil consumption is for manufacturing; if we switched to nuclear, we would essentially be independent for both domestic manufacturing and for energy, AND it would free our hands and allow more investiture in domestic manufacturing / onshoring, so China pumps funding into insane anti-nuclear campaigns.
San Francisco Chronicle@sfchronicle

OPINION: California’s last remaining nuclear facility, scheduled to be shuttered in four years, provides 17% of California’s clean, carbon-free electricity. sfchronicle.com/opinion/openfo…

@solarfoid @JamrockHobo The Kentler Project was done because Kentler believed that "Boys getting 'loved' by PDFiles" was the only way to avoid Hitler coming back. So, could you please explain to me how Kentler was part of the "Liberal-Fascist rape machine"?

Adepticon 2026 review: The Return of Yarrick: 8/10. Wazdakka Gutsmek looks amazing. All the models look good except the Sisters of Battle character. She looks too clean and with the edges filed off. Prevents the reveals from being a 10/10. I'm not thanking you for not squatting Steel Legion. You should never have released that article in the first place. Kill Team: 7/10. Brought down by more Cadians in a team that would make more sense for Catachans. Red Terror looks amazing. Cadian squad still looks cool but I'm so done with Cadians. Horus Heresy: 5/10. Nice weapon platforms and Ogryns for Solar Auxilia. But overall nothing to write home about. Warhammer Underworlds: Who? Lord of the Rings: 6/10. Nice to see old kits getting updated but quit trying to push that War of the Rohirrim cartoon flop. Nobody saw that movie. Age of Sigmar: *loud wheezing laughter* Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition Tease: You're cookin', Games Workshop. Some good new rules changes that are much needed. New Space Marine kits with old armor parts is needed along with a not dogwater Ork Boyz kit. Nice to see Ultramarines not being the poster boys. Overall: 7/10. You're still not off the hook for female Custodes.

@BedsideHandjob @Dolfijnmanjohns I mean, it‘s not really that much of a surprise. Some of their lore might get brought back in via the OwlCat cRPG games, but I had always been under the impression that the FFG lore was - like the lore from other games - in a grey area.

@ThinkingOfRome @Dolfijnmanjohns Pretty much this, I was looking it up and I could only find a reddit post about licensing issues with the FFG lore, hence the so-called retcon. The wikis (fandom and lexicanum) only speak of the lore but don't actually mention the codex editions etc.

And here I was thinking Guilliman, the leader of the Imperium of Man, would just kindly ask the people controlling his worlds to return them to him and if they refused he would respect their decision and leave. I am shocked.
Shas'la Kais@shas_kais

I reviewed the lore about Roboute's 500 world project. I won't lie, it's looking pretty grim. Roboute is replacing the semi-independent systems of Imperial worlds (feudalism) with straight-up fascism, Astartes fascism! The lore treats this as a good thing. The only way that mankind can survive what's to come. What is GW smoking?! He is doing it forcefully. Sure, he asks nicely first, but if he is refused, his Ultramarines and their legions of Auxilia will force the worlds to kneel before Macragge. The disobedient rulers who cling to the old ways and/or are more loyal to Terra are replaced with Space Marines or mortal rulers who know their place. And all of them answer to the Tetrarchs, who in turn answer to Roboute, not the Emperor and certainly not the High Lords of Terra. The resources and manpower of the Imperial worlds drawn into the sphere of Ultramar flow toward Macragge rather than Terra. The wealthy industrial world of Garranox is on the brink of breaking itself as it attempts to pay the tithe to Terra and fulfill its obligation to Ultramar, so it's unrealistic for Imperial worlds to support both sides. Roboute plans to enforce his social and political reforms across hundreds of worlds. In the name of progress and enlightenment, Roboute is employing tyrannical means. It's a precursor for his new vision for the Imperium. The irony here is that what Roboute is doing in the south echoes what Abaddon is doing in the north. Following the theme of Roboute and Abaddon being mirror images of each other, Abaddon's Dark Imperium is a mirror of Roboute's expanding Ultramar. Both claim that they are honouring the ideals of the Great Crusade. Both want to save the Imperium from itself and reshape it in the image of Space Marine supremacy (in opposition to the explicit wishes of the Emperor). So, how is Avenging Son any better than the Warmaster? Imperial traditionalists and conservatives are raising alarms against this overstep by the Primarch. The nobility across many worlds within and nearby Ultramar are staging resistance. Inquisitors are monitoring the situation. And surely the High Lords are sweating bullets. Now, why is it funny? Imperial fans for years rejected the notion that the Imperium is fascist, but here is Roboute with his plans to blanket the entirety of the Imperium under fascistic rule. Truly, in many ways, Roboute is Wokehammer's greatest ally.

@eugyppius1 @DogmaticTower Of course, this "migrant TFR" 1) includes a lot of people from the wider EU, 2) adjusts (closer) to ours by the second generation, and 3) a lot of the "problematic elements" of migration are likely to leave once a political realignment about the current social safety net happens.

@eugyppius1 @DogmaticTower It's also confusing German TFR with S.Korean TFR (or thinking that Germany has as many problems as SK) Our TFR might be 1.35, but migrant TFR is also "only" 1.84 With Germans being ~72% of the population, this "change" will take a long time, unless we import millions of migrants

The failure of the BRD is very possible, even likely, on the right timescale. Germans as a people are however not facing the end, not nearly. This is parareligious eschatology, and writing the AfD into this fable is an attempt to make a party into something it can never be - a saviour, the answer to everything, the way back to the garden of eden.
Tyler Durden 58@58Tyler31897

@eugyppius1 The failure of Germany and end of the Germans as a people is already the most likely base scenario. It is the old external and internal ideology of the CDU that enabled much of it. And miraculous and ever more unlikely save, can only come from a new ideology.
