@APostOfPositive @TouchlineX If you're not near the technical area, you're already supposed to leave the pitch at the closest touchline and walk to the dugout off the field. All the law is doing in enforcing its done with more haste

@TouchlineX The substitution policy should have considered distance. There is a difference between a player close to the sidelines getting off in 10 seconds and a player all the way across the field getting off in 10 seconds

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: FIFA have officially announced the new rules for the 2026 World Cup! 1️⃣ 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗦: When a player is taken off, he has 10 seconds to leave the pitch. If they take longer, their replacement will have to wait one minute before entering, leaving his team with one fewer player. 2️⃣ 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗪-𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗦: Once a throw-in or goal kick takes place, a 5-second timer will be applied. If the player takes longer than 5 seconds, it will result in loss of possession. 3️⃣ 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: A player receiving medical attention on the field MUST LEAVE and WAIT one minute before returning on the pitch, unless the injury was caused by a foul sanctioned with a card. 4️⃣ 𝗩𝗔𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: VAR will now be able to review second yellow cards that have lead to a red, as well as incorrectly awarded corner kicks. 5️⃣ 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗦: Only the captain is allowed to request explanations from the referee, if the rest of the players talk to the referee surround the referee, they will be given a yellow card.

Celtic have played very little attractive football this season, but the best of it was during a fleeting few minutes under Wilfried Nancy.

For the record, 21 points for Celtic wins this league. 82 does it. All day long The issue is there is no way a Celtic team playing like that wins 7 league games in a row. Excellent celtic teams haven’t won 7games in a row at split end of the season. Ange teams didn’t Its over

There's clear bias against RFC from the refs. Sterling slips and contacts "boot on boot" 🔴 Whilst across the city a CFC player catches a Motherwell guy right down the shin & ankle 🟡 no review. Corruption on the park & in the VAR room How much more evidence do we need to see?

The epitome of VAR in Scotland on show again today. That tackle, should have been a straight red card, fortunately that it wasn't career ending for Chukwani. It could have been. @ScottishFA referees need to take a long hard look at themselves. Shameful.

Tried to not be too biased with this one but it just so obviously is a red isn’t it? I could accept it isn’t if they’ve not said it’s boot on boot as a stud literally tears down Just’s leg. Anyway, stand by my point that constantly going over calls is tiresome, but so is this.

⏰ Coming up: Scottish Football VAR Review! Hear the VAR audio and watch the discussion on plenty of incidents, including if Celtic's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should have been sent off for this tackle against Motherwell. Watch the show from 6pm on @SkyFootball 📺

@dylan12135 @TheRefsView So what? That was before, and was a lot worse, but in a similar vein. Ive not watched the VAR review show, but im guessing if on field red it would have stood, but yellow wasn't getting over turned? Red would have been very harsh - especially looking at a worse challenge

@WhoDatBhoy @TheRefsView So what? As a well fan how does that help us? Just was booted off the park last Saturday - no one is talking about the Ralston challenge- might have got the ball but he was out of control and caught just on follow through.

WC getting worse. Ox-Chamberlain tackle on Just of Motherwell - high end Yellowor Orange card. couldn’t disagree if a Red Card was given. *image shows a red but needs context of challenge. *start higher up on shin but main contact on the foot That comment says it’s a Red Card

@WhoDatBhoy @JamesMurphyTips So let me follow you here 1. The geniuses in the VAR room have another camera angle 2. They then use the “inconclusive” camera angle to draw the lines instead of the other one 3. None of us are allowed to see the other camera angle Is that basically what you’re going with mate?

This has come up on my timeline, so I checked the highlights on youtube and managed to freeze the match at the frame they used for the offside. The issue is the frame they used is just BEFORE the pass is played. A monumental VAR cock-up in Scotland.
Empire ✶ ✶ ✶ ✶@Empire1872

Note the penalty spot in the first photo at Moore’s elbow. Where is it in the second? Also in the 1st photo, the St Mirren defender closest to Moore has his right foot all but planted and Moore is in motion striking the ball. In the second picture his foot is still in motion and Moore hasn’t played the ball yet. Complete opposite to Celtic’s VAR stills for Nygren’s offside goal.

@CMacIver11 @JamesMurphyTips It would help if they at least showed some of the angles they have access to. Braga had a potential Pen the other day. The commentators and pundis were saying from another angle they're not sure he was actually touched - ive not see that angle. Looked like he was clipped to me...

@WhoDatBhoy @JamesMurphyTips They use multiple cameras, all time synchronised, to deternine which frame to use. VAR is perfectly capable of getting offside right in Scotland, we just don't have good enough camera angles for them to pass the "eye test" - hence fans distrust the calls that are actually correct

@CMacIver11 @JamesMurphyTips Yeah, so you need to see the other angles to get the correct frame. You can't judge that from one behind camera angle

@jameshr1872 @craig_m0808 @esta_x4 You know VAR have more angles to view that are synced together so they can judge when the ball actually leaves the foot? They dont just use wherever Sky roughly decide to pause it. He looks off in both pics anyway. The ball is at the line in the grass, player is past the line.

@WhoDatBhoy @craig_m0808 @esta_x4 Tell me, how does a player who’s foot is planted in the same line as the ball as its being passed suddenly move a foot further forward for a VAR image? It’s a physical impossibility.
