@papygun @PaulSkallas Turkish coffee is for show is such a joke lmao, millions of people trink turk kahvesi every day
English

@PaulSkallas Not lindy, turkish is just for show. Use french press, moka pot, or pour over. With these you have control on all steps, nothing automatic, coffee ground and hot water.
See it go slowly and enjoy, knowing you are responsible for the result.

So uh… I’m the new Twitter intern running this account. No pressure, right? Let’s see if I still have a job by Friday... Either way, I'm just stopping by to say: BIG WEEK ahead for Meteora!

@MeteoraAG Can you just say when TGE is

Over the last week, we’ve approved appeals and double checked user’s wallets, pools and fees.
All of our progress has been updated into the points system, with a summary:

This has been a long time coming, and we want to take this chance to look back on the history of Meteora points.
A Brief History of Meteora Points.
Points were first introduced by Ben Chow, called the LP Stimulus Plan, clearly laying out a system of Multipliers and Points calculations to promote users to learn how to use DLMM and Meteora.
proposals.meteora.ag/t/10-lp-stimul…
This sparked a historic rise of the LP Army, and Meteora’s growth as a result, kicking off with JUP’s TGE, the first of it’s kind on Meteora DLMM.
After more than a year, @0xSoju and @realdezen would propose the first set of changes in the Amendments to the LP Stimulus Plan, crucially bumping up the allocation from 10% to 15%, and abolishing the multiplier system that led to points being too top-heavy and overly complex.
proposals.meteora.ag/t/draft-amendm…
The major theme of the amendment is to promote retail participation, by introducing a Launch Pool segment to reduce dilution from deployers, remove the multiplier system that would make it more top-heavy, the flat bonus system and also introduce the 2024/2025 split.
A few months later, on June 30th, the snapshot for LP Stimulus Package would be taken, and Season 2 begins immediately.
x.com/MeteoraAG/stat…
This meant that all points earned in 2024 and the first half of 2025, will be separate from those earned from June 30th onwards.
Further simplifying the points system is the removal of the TVL-points and DAMM V1 points, focusing only on Fees earned on DLMM and DAMM V2.
Lastly, we have the release of the points checker on meteora.ag/points, alongside a detailed write-up on how they’re calculated.

View your points, understand how we got here, and get ready for what comes next.

@_fishgodeep @0xNikov @MeteoraAG @StarseedTeam @met_lparmy I have about 580M points on this wallet, so it would be around 580*$200, so low 6 figs. I do expect some sort of 6 airdrop from this tho, provided this math is right.
English

Absolutely cooked on @MeteoraAG points. Huge thanks to @StarseedTeam and @met_lparmy for giving me the opportunity to secure this major W. $MET is going to be one of the greatest plays of all time. ☄️

English

@0xNikov @imthebhattman @MeteoraAG @StarseedTeam @met_lparmy That would put your airdrop at $1.64m, or are am I missing something here?

I am late to post about this, but this is important — @MeteoraAG is proposing to reward biggest contributors to the protocol, and this is massive. Here I want to tell you a small story about the community.
To quote @itschieph, who I think phrased it perfectly, being a part of LP Army and Meteora community was one of the biggest and most rewarding endeavors of my life so far, and I think this is for a reason — the community is absolutely amazing. It is amazing because amazing people built it. And I am tremendously proud to be a rather small part of building this community — and I am even more proud to be someone who stood there, in the “show off your curves” Discord channel at the time the process of creating this community started.
There, now already one and a half years before, the “recipe” for successful community drafted itself. How? Let me go over three reasons (even though there so much more).
First, the people. Luck or not, everyone starting in there that I know advanced to being community builders are good people. I would probably trust them with my wallet. I even remember one time we ran an LP for a newly minted coin (not a memecoin, a wrapper) to advance and promote liquidity and were entrusted pretty significant funds, even though the team wasn’t aware who we are (besides our socials). This is so unsual to me - but not surprising, I knew everyone around was trustworthy.
Not only trustworthy, but pleasant to work and interact with. Not kidding, our Mods are all so good!
Second one is “alignment”. This word is thrown around both in web3 and web2 so much it may have lost its meaning. But for @MeteoraAG and LP Army it is SO real. For us, there was always an incentive to educate — and incentive to cooperate. This is the core of building any community, and why I am frankly pessimistic about a lot of communities in crypto. To create a community both of these incentives should be in place, or it won’t work as well as it worked for LP Army. For us, more good LPs always meant more depth, fuller pools and better quality LP. This is TANGIBLE incentive to cooperate and educate, this is so so rare in crypto I can’t even imagine any scenario with such obvious incentives, and I am well versed in DeFi.
Third is the “crisis” we withstood together. Over 1.5 years there were so much going not as expected, from Fee Printors, to M3M3, to Kelsier. In all of those cases we all banded together to save and protect the community, which is the big part of what so great.
Of course, these are just the tip of the iceberg. Our members, the help of the amazing team, Goose DAO (probably a real “predecessor” to the LP Army) and many more are very big parts of it, but if I go it will be a full-blown essay.
We have done something I thought was not possible and didn’t exist. Of course I myself am such a small part of it, but man it is so enticing to tie myself into something that great.
I know we will continue building and continue advancing the community. We are already no-doubt the leader of LP by any metric, but we have so much more to do. We may never be as massive as others, but will always be the strongest.
Cheers, fellow LP Army! We shall LP on. @met_lparmy

@isnortline @0xuberM ANI Dropping in price almost 3x while the holders are only increasing. 200m is coming sooner than a lot of people think. Just gotta wait until MM's are done with price manipulation and accumilation.
