Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Considering all the rockets flying thousands of miles and the fact they were super close to making a nuclear weapon. Then take in the fact they never hide how much they wanted to destroy the USA. Plus the fact they paid and trained numerous terrorist groups around the world. No I do not agree with Joe Kent at all.

@VigilantFox Didn’t Iran also say they will be targeting tourists sites in upcoming attacks? Didn’t rocket debris hit the church a few days ago? I also heard that all the tourist sites in Jerusalem have been closed.

REPORT: Just days before Easter, a top Catholic leader in Jerusalem was blocked from worshipping at the site believed to hold the tomb of Jesus Christ. For the first time in centuries, access to one of Christianity’s most sacred places is being restricted, and the ripple effects are already spreading far beyond the region. At the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Christians have gathered continuously for nearly 1,700 years, Israeli police stopped Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, from entering to celebrate Palm Sunday Mass, despite traveling privately and without ceremony. Church leaders called the move unprecedented, especially as other religious groups were still granted access in certain cases. Israeli officials point to security concerns tied to rising tensions, but for many, that explanation doesn’t fully resolve the deeper issue now coming into focus. If access to Christianity’s holiest site can be restricted now, what does that signal for religious freedom going forward?

“It was written by man?” Yes, 40 men. They lived over a period of 1,500 years. That means some of them was born before the others died, and some died before the others were born. They lived on three different continents. They spoke three different languages. And yet from Genesis to Revelation, there’s an undeniable unity of thought. That’s literally impossible: you can’t get 20 people in a room and tell them to write an essay about one topic and get agreement. Impossible apart from the inspiration of God Almighty. 40 men wrote the Bible by putting in on paper, but YHWH is the true only author of the Book of life. Trust in him to lead the way and follow the page for more Biblical truths and Christian stories 🕊️

@kangminlee Just a reminder that first 39 books of the Bible are from the Old Testament. Also the 39 out of 40 authors were Jewish. Should we really be arguing something like this?

@JackPosobiec Just to be clear - if the point here is that the Basilica has closing hours, those are rules set by the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land, a Catholic Mission. Not the state of Israel…. In any event, Christ is King.

Canada just criminalized reading the Bible. Now quoting Scripture on marriage, sin, or God’s design for sexuality can be prosecuted as “wilful promotion of hatred.” This is how the West falls.

@Peoples_Pundit Scofield did not publish a Bible translation. He published a study Bible with his commentary notes and references. So much misinformation in this post.

Rich Baris THE PEOPLE'S PUNDIT
Scofield's translation was significant, but Christian Zionism still was not mainstream among American Christians, even evangelicals, before the election of Menachem Begin in 1977. Likud courted Falwell, Robertson and other televangelists (Hagee) to consummate a Theo-Political marriage after. Meaning, money, folks. They gave them a LOT of money. Begin gave Falwell a plane to push the bombing of Iraq in 1981 😂 and to continue pushing the Zionist action plan wrapped up in doomsday theology, using the '67 War as evidence of Christ's imminent return. The election of Ronald Reagan after his conversion greatly helped solidify its role in the Republican Party, but it was still met with resistance from church leaders, scholars and other Republican Christians. Even John McCain called Falwell and Roberts "intolerant" Christians BEFORE he was on the payroll. It wasn't until 911 that the Theo-Political marriage was finally sealed. @barnes_law and I have done entire episodes reviewing decades of public opinion for Christians on Zionism and Israel. It's absolutely fair to characterize Christian Zionism as a "new" worldview isolated only to certain generations of American Christians. You get Evangelicals do not consent to this marriage. rumble.com/v6xhmr4-barnes… rumble.com/v711q48-histor…

“In 1909, Cyrus Scofield wrote a reference Bible and said he was going to translate it into more modern English and give his interpretation of what it means. The Scofield Bible is one man’s interpretation, and it became one of the best-selling Bibles. He took lines like Genesis 12:3 and said this means we have to support Jews in Israel forever. That’s what the Scofield Bible says it means, and that’s what Christian Zionists believe.” @MichaelTLester

One of the greatest Japanese people we knew was this young teacher named Eikichi Onizuka. He used to teach Class 3-4 at Holy Forest Academy in Tokyo. He had a rough childhood growing up and was a bit of a delinquent, but he really turned his life around. We learned so many life lessons from him although his methods were a bit unconventional. He got in trouble for some perverted stuff, but he’ll always hold a special place in our heart.

God is outside of time, his prophecies will be fulfilled according to his timetable. Otherwise how would you reconcile the book of Revelation? Ask yourself why did Jesus only read and then stop and state that he had fulfilled Isaiah 61:1-2a in Luke 4:16-30? when will he be fulfilling Isaiah 61:2b? It is foolish to think that prophecy will not be fulfilled in our modern times.

You’re right that God is faithful to Israel, that the Gospel is for the Jewish people, and that Scripture speaks of restoration. But Isaiah 66 isn’t a timestamp for 1948, Ezekiel isn’t a modern geopolitical timeline, and the New Testament shows those promises fulfilled in Christ, where Jew and Gentile become one people of God, not parallel tracks tied to a modern state.

The word Israel appears 2,319 times in the Bible. The Jewish people maintained continuous cultural, religious, and linguistic connection to the land for 3,000+ years even through diaspora. God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15 was a unilateral covenant where God alone passed between the pieces. Abraham was asleep. That means Israel’s faithfulness or lack thereof cannot void the promise. It’s God’s obligation, not a contract. Ezekiel 37 describes dry bones coming back to life as a nation explicitly in stages, first physical, then spiritual. 1948 is the physical stage and spiritual revival is ongoing. Isaiah 11:11 specifically says God will recover the remnant a second time implying a second diaspora and a second return. Genesis 15:18 describes borders from the Nile to the Euphrates the same geography Israel has geopolitically contested for decades. God said He would bring them back before they deserved it in Ezekiel 36:22-24 which explicitly says the regathering is for God’s name’s sake, not Israel’s righteousness. That preemptively answers the “but they’re secular” objection. You don’t have to like Israel and you don’t have to read the Bible, but if you’re going to comment on things then maybe you should actually know what you’re talking about first. Otherwise stick to comedy.

Isaiah 66:8 refers to the birth of the nation of Israel in a single day. The nation of Israel will be a nation of people in unbelief read Ezekiel 20:33-44 until the events of Ezekiel 38. We as Christians need to bring the Gospel to the Jewish people. God has a plan for his people. The church has not replaced Israel.

With respect, a Catholic Refutation 1) “Israel appears 2,319 times” Agree: True. Refute: Not decisive. The New Testament develops the meaning of Israel: •Galatians 3:16 — “to your offspring… who is Christ” •Galatians 3:29 — “you are Abraham’s offspring” •Romans 9:6 — “not all… Israel belong to Israel” Point: Repetition shows importance; fulfillment clarifies meaning. 2) “Continuous connection to the land” Agree: Historically true. Refute: Not, by itself, a theological conclusion. Scripture grounds the promise in Abraham, and shows its fulfillment: •Genesis 15 — God establishes the covenant •Romans 4:13 — “heir of the world” •Galatians 3:29 — “heirs according to promise” Point: Continuity matters; Christ defines fulfillment. 3) “Genesis 15 = unilateral → God obligated → land forever” Agree: Unilateral, yes. Refute: The conclusion goes further than Scripture. •Romans 4:13 — “heir of the world” •Hebrews 11:10 — “city… whose builder is God” •Galatians 3:16 — “offspring… Christ” Summary: God guarantees the promise, and Scripture shows it expands and is fulfilled in Christ. Point: The covenant is presented as fulfilled and universalized, not fixed to land. 4) “Ezekiel 37 = 1948 (physical first, spiritual later)” Agree: There is sequence. Refute: The modern application isn’t in the text. •Ezekiel 37:11 — “these bones are… Israel” Trajectory: •exile → restoration •death → life •Ephesians 2:1–6 — “dead… made alive” •Acts 2 — Spirit gives life Point: The passage points to restoration fulfilled in spiritual life, not a modern timeline. 5) “Isaiah 11 = second return” Agree: Regathering language. Refute: Explicitly Messianic. •Isaiah 11:1 — “shoot… from Jesse” •Romans 15:12 — “root of Jesse… hope of nations” Point: Christ gathering nations, not geopolitical forecasting. 6) “Nile to Euphrates = modern claim” Agree: Large boundaries described. Refute: Application assumes direct continuity. •Romans 4:13 — “heir of the world” •Hebrews 11:16 — “better… heavenly country” Point: The promise expands, not remains fixed geographically. 7) “Ezekiel 36 = regathering before righteousness” Agree: God acts for His name. Refute: The passage continues: •Ezekiel 36:25–27 — “new heart… my Spirit” Fulfillment: •John 3:5 — “water and Spirit” •Titus 3:5 — “washing of regeneration” Point: Focus is inner renewal, not just return. 8) “Know what you’re talking about” Agree: Yes. Refute: That includes reading the full arc: •OT → promise •Christ → fulfillment •Church → continuation Point: The argument emphasizes earlier texts without incorporating apostolic interpretation. Bottom line •Romans 11:29 — “gifts… irrevocable” •Fulfilled in Christ •Extended to all nations •Not tied to modern territorial claims Final close God’s faithfulness is not in question. Scripture shows what that faithfulness accomplishes: the promise to Abraham becomes global, fulfilled in Christ, and shared by all who belong to Him.

I’m pissed! Trump gave Iran a pause on strikes against their energy infrastructure until April 6. So what did Israel do?

They bombed all three of Iran’s largest steel plants simultaneously, which are crucial to their economy And if that wasn’t enough, they also struck Iran’s Khondab heavy-water reactor facility as well as uranium production and uranium-conversion sites All on the same day Why did Israel do this? And was it in coordination with the U.S.? If it’s in coordination, it means Trump lied to Iran. If not, than Israel is lying. If you take into account the report today that JD Vance yelled at Netanyahu over the phone this week, upset at being dragged into the war by misleading intelligence, then I think you have your answer Israel seems to be trying to sabotage these negotiations, and it serves their interests to do so.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

UPDATE: I’m really struggling to call what happens next On one hand, Trump needs an off-ramp to limit the global economic damage and growing domestic political pressure Iran would also like this war to end before more cities are leveled and more leaders are killed On the other hand, Iran is doing surprisingly well controlling the Strait, striking the Gulf and Israel, and selling oil for more than twice the price than before the war, making a killing And on the American side, troops are heading to the region for what increasingly looks like a ground operation to control Hormuz Negotiations are the most promising development since February 28th. But Iran's warnings to Gulf nations against supporting any ground operation, combined with maximalist demands from both sides, make a deal unlikely in the short term
