If i’m being honest. Fuck VRS. Yes me and the homies were able to get a spot to this event. We attended Frag x Block (Which also had VRS) and although we didn’t make playoffs, it felt like a reachable goal. We were surrounded by our friends and were able to make new ones in our small community. When we didn’t make playoffs we almost made a INSANE Big L run. Neither of those are happening this event. All of what made these local LANs fun to go to and be apart of is gone. Now it’s a straight business move for European/Tier 1/2 Teams. Happy for the Fragadelphia Team, as this will overall improve their business. But are the days of showing up to these events with 5 of your friends and sneaking into playoffs really dead because of the implementation of VRS? At that point idk make something non VRS this way we can just have a sick weekend with the homies again.
