My Elder Quorum President submitted request for release today. He’s been in position about a year. We are still missing one counselor that quit. Just me (Secretary) and a First Counselor left standing going into the busy Stake Conference, General Conference, scheduled activities & responsibilities season. Send help. 🙏 I don’t understand why my ward has such a challenge with men in the EQ presidency. Constant turnover and lack of engagement. Is this normal in your ward? An issue of church or part of the overall problems with men checking out, feeling overwhelmed, and failing to take on leadership? I’ve been secretary for over three years and being a four year convert, I’ve been really surprised by this. There was stability in the four years I investigated before (and during) the pandemic. But something broke and it’s been chaos and disorder since. I don’t know how to help it tbh. I can only continue to pray. I feel broken most of the time and only find footing by putting myself into my calling more and seeking guidance in my own life through service in others. One thing I notice, that’s changed since, is that these presidencies either by choice or by lack of willingness in our quorum, do not have any delegation callings. No service, activities, ministering, or anything else, callings in support. It’s just been us. Trying to do it all. Since I was called and a few presidencies. Previously, when I was first baptized, I know the presidency called other sub-callings to support the presidency on these things. I was part of the service committee. These kind of callings have been nonexistent since the pandemic was over. I don’t know if it’s been a choice or a lack of quorum support. But it does make the weight of a presidency that much heavier.

Why do members of the Church vote for Democrats who hate America? Why do they parrot Dem talking points about how the USA was founded on Evil principles and by evil men? They reject the teachings of the Book of Mormon and our modern prophets in this.

FYI: Only one of these teams plays an opponent with a winning record this weekend.

Settle a debate between me and a fellow traveler: He says I’m crazy for turning down an upgrade from a main aisle seat on my flight tomorrow morning to a middle seat in comfort plus. I despise middle seats, I’m already boarding in Zone 4 so overhead space won’t be an issue, and no connection flight to hurry to. Seems like no-brainer.
