The paintings of my grandfather Stanislaw Brunstein displayed at the a new exhibition of his work.
Vibrant colours, textures, and emotions throughout as he worked through memories and trauma of war-time confinement, losing family and pre-war Jewish life.

My best (and hopefully most insightful) suggestion is that there needs to be a nationally funded and co-ordinated peer support service, delivered by local partners, so that wherever someone lives, they are able to access high-quality support from other people living with HIV

Also great to hear that Gov will review how data is collected and published to ensure it fully recognises and includes everyone living with HIV to give a true picture whether people are in care or not

Today the Government has committed to publish a new Action Plan by summer 2025
@NAT_AIDS_Trust @THTorguk and @ejaf are working together to set out priorities to end HIV transmissions

But that won’t be the end.
People living with HIV experience stigma & discrimination which @NAT_AIDS_Trust challenges every day.
And the inequalities experienced by women & across communities is unacceptable.
We can’t, and won’t, let that take another 30 years to put right

And by 2030 the UK could become the first country to end new HIV transmissions.
@NAT_AIDS_Trust are work with @THTorguk and @ejaf to set out the steps that Government can take to make this goal a reality.

Oasis reunion after 30 years - 1994 seems a long time ago.
It was the year of the highest number of deaths from AIDS and HIV diagnoses in the UK.
So much has changed. Someone living with HIV now on effective treatment should have same life expectancy and can’t pass it on.

Very glad that Manuel has finally been able to leave Qatar now after such a horrific ordeal.
His lack of access to HIV medicine and appropriate tests during detention was completely unacceptable.
We wish him all the best.
