I’m late to every AI trend: - adopted Cursor late - switched to Claude Code late - just started using DeepSeek - haven’t tried OpenClaw or Hermes - haven’t used GPT 5.5 yet And guess what? I didn’t fall behind or become obsolete like all the AI grifters and tech bros said.

Great work. I went with the different idea with loomkit, I focused on the controlling part by track pad, gestures and keyboard shortcuts. Apps fetch is similar but only opening, switching of apps and sending shortcuts commands. Kind of like stream deck. Yours with Remote makes it quite big. Exploring now. Reported some feedback.

I just got my MBP battery replaced after using all these AI IDE's, churned out so much heat and memory usage, node servers, renderers and java stuff running in bg mostly with antigravity that my battery stopped charging after 1% and laptop would die the moment its unplugged. Apple don't even sell batteries would cost over $600+ so be gentle with that battery, make sure it doesn't discharge with 25+ W or Go higher temps of 40 C+.

This is something I discovered Claude Code is a battery suck, just a few hours and my MBP 16" M4 is empty, it's crazy SSH'ing into a server you can go all day!

@levelsio People also don't seem to understand that running it on your laptop actually drains quite some battery, while just connecting to your server is as good as free. I got 16 hours to a half battery on Linux panterlake. Plus if you're on the go. You just beam in trough your phone.

I think I’m gonna downgrade my $200/mo Claude max plan and use it for planning, architecting, and reviewing. Then have DeepSeek do the actual implementation.

@SEGVeenstra @ThomasBurkhartB Yeah! I actually got fed up with Antigravity so got this instead along with cursor which I already use, But now I can use sonnet and opus everyday for like 10 mins after each reset lol.

@devJunaid1 Haha, I'm in the same boat. @ThomasBurkhartB kept telling me to get Claude Code but I did not due to budgeting reasons, but now we have a subscription through my new job and it's really amazing stuff. I'm still learning to work with it, but I'm getting there 😅

@levelsio I think that's also why google is going for WebMCP which will have all kind of websites have HTML attributes to define the tool and its description, Agent will simply read that instead of screenshots and reading entire Web pages, still in beta, but looks promising

Published an agent-skill vps-project-setup for any one looking to launch their local host projects live on VPS. Goes through VPS specs for compatibility, check if required project libraries are installed and if their are any issues with VPS setup for tunnels, AWS VPS configuration to bypass using ngrok, tunnels.
