I'm not entirely sure what explains this when lots of people still keep voting for these outfits. (Do they not trust the alternatives?) Anyone got a plausible explanation? Either way, an awful lot of public anger is building up here and doesn't quite know how to vent off.

Some kind of systems malfunction has developed in Irish democracy whereby the Government seems incapable or unwilling to pick up voter signals and the same is happening to so-called 'representative groups' like the IFA.
