I am a strong defender of Ukraine against Russia.
I find it disturbing that some who defend Ukraine oppose military action against the regime in Iran — even though the IRGC is helping Putin kill Ukrainians.

@dr_net No. All embassy territories are under concession by the host country. Review the Vienna Convention. Only the buildings themselves enjoy diplomatic immunity, and even then, only partially. In the event of a crime or offense, the local penal code applies.

Fake info. All US military bases in Europe are under bilateral agreement ratified in the 50's. Most of them have been amended after 1991. There is absolutely no US territory in Europe. Leaving NATO means leaving all bases within 90 days.

@Normanknight27 I do know the Vienna Convention quite well. And the "concession" is what I ment by TEMPORARILY territory of another country. The supersedence of local penalty code is only theoretical, as it is unenforcable - see Julian Assange's stint in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.
