In Central Uganda (Mukono, Wakiso & nearby districts), erratic July rains are disrupting farming calendars, damaging crops, and threatening food security & incomes for households and markets. Without urgent adaptation, Uganda risks losing up to 3.1% of GDP by 2050 (World Bank CCDR), pushing millions into poverty & displacing many internally. As the @epuganda, we call on the @Parliament_Ug & @GovUganda to fast track climate smart agriculture, wetland/forest restoration, robust early-warning systems, and dedicated funding for community resilience. #ClimateActionUG #ProtectOurEnvironment #GreenGovernance
