@ns123abc The scale of this is wild. I wonder which "southeast asian shell" they used specifically—probably not the first time they've done this. How did they think $2.5B would go unnoticed?

Three Charged with Conspiring to Unlawfully Divert Cutting Edge U.S. Artificial Intelligence Technology to China “The indictment unsealed today details alleged efforts to evade U.S. export laws through false documents, staged dummy servers to mislead inspectors, and convoluted transshipment schemes, in order to obfuscate the true destination of restricted AI technology—China,” said John A. Eisenberg, Assistant Attorney General for National Security. “These chips are the product of American ingenuity, and NSD will continue to enforce our export-control laws to protect that advantage.” 🔗: justice.gov/opa/pr/three-c…

@EXM7777 Feature parity is inevitable in this race. The real question is whether they can actually build a better moat than just copying UI updates. Do you think original UX still matters?

@ThebilalSEO True, but don't ignore the competition entirely. They are the ones taking your clicks while you're busy competing with your past self. How much time are you actually spending on keyword research vs design?

Your competition on Pinterest isn't other bloggers. It's yourself 30 days ago. → The blogger who scattered pins randomly? That's your competition. → The one who picked keywords without targeting an audience? That's your competition. → The one who designed pretty pins that nobody clicked? That's your competition. → The one who doesn't know what an Absorption Click is? That's your competition. → The one still doing manually what Claude can do in minutes? That's your competition. → The one with 30 boards and zero clustering strategy? That's your competition. Fix what YOU did wrong last month and you'll outrank 90% of your niche. Because most creators never fix anything. They just do more of what isn't working. Faster. Harder. With the same broken system. The gap between you today and you 30 days from now is the only competition that matters.

@lottsnomad Hard to scale if you're trying to be everything for everyone. Most people are afraid of losing potential revenue, but focus is better. Who are you building for right now?

@zach_yadegari "Just learning" organic and paid sounds simpler than it actually is. Most people get stuck on the creative side, not the math. What do you think is the hardest part to get right first?

It's really interesting how so few people truly understand how distribution works. There is no magic sauce. If it's a sole-user experience, you just need to learn how CAC : LTV works and then how to operate social media platforms on both the organic and paid side. If it's a social experience, you need to learn how k-factor works (much harder). Stop doing stupid shit like throwing flyers out of airplanes.

If you really want to hold yourself to a high standard, graph the growth rate of the number you care about instead of the number itself. Then you're winning if you can even keep it flat.

Open source models are catching up faster than anyone expected. MiniMax M2.7 hallucination rate: 34%. MiniMax M2.5 was 89%. 55 point drop in a single generation. Out of 423 models on AA-Omniscience. M2.5 hallucinated at the same level as GPT 5.4. M2.7 just leapfrogged GPT 5.4. The gap between open source and closed source is shrinking every month. The frontier labs should be paying attention.

Composer 2 outperforms Claude Opus 4.6 Composer 2 scores 61.7 on Terminal-Bench 2.0. Claude Opus 4.6 at 58.0. $0.50/M input. $2.50/M output. 10x cheaper than Claude Opus 4.6. Cursor isn't just an IDE anymore. They're training their own models now. The IDE companies are becoming model companies.

Today I finally hit $100k on @Kalshi When I was setting it as a goal for the whole 2026, I didn't expect to hit it in 3 months. This has been a crazy road, which has brought some insane opportunities. I always say that I'm just lucky, but there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours behind it. I'm lucky that I have such nice people in @MentionMetrix community. I think 1/4 of my profit was because of alpha shared by the community. March is much harder, but not every month will be your best month. But with midterms coming up i think we'll see some more great months. My new goal for 2026 is $500k and I hope I'll be lucky enough to reach it.
