The Stripe Black Friday/Cyber Monday dash is one of my highlights through the year: bfcm.stripe.com. Unsurprisingly, my favorite metric is time saved with Link. We closed out BFCM with over 2.7 million minutes saved, over 3x (!!!) last year. That's 5 years and 4 months saved by consumers by not typing in card numbers, leading to higher conversion for merchants.

For years @patrickc + @collision told me "You should add @link, it'll increase your conversion rate" I always figured Link was only useful for consumer-y impulse buys, not Serious Business Stuff™️ But...TL;DR: we added @link and it increased our conversion rate. Lesson learned

We just announced that @link has passed 200 million users! If you haven't come across it, Link helps internet users store their credentials for faster checkout across the @stripe ecosystem. For businesses, Link means higher conversion rates, happier users, and less churn. For customers, Link obviously means more convenience, but we're quickly adding more functionality: subscription management, support for additional payment methods (not everyone has a card), stablecoin support (soon!), and lots more. You can instantly enable Link in the Stripe Dashboard. Link started as an experiment, but it's now clear to us that there's something big here. There have obviously been wallets on the internet for a long time, but we think there's an opportunity to figure out what the "wallet of the 2020s" should look like. While Link is used across basically every sector of the economy, it's been particularly cool to see the extent of its adoption among AI companies: OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Cursor, Perplexity, Suno, and two-thirds of the Forbes AI 50 are growing their revenue with Link.

@stephen_walter You can edit the payment method and set a card nickname in checkout. You cannot yet add a nickname in the add a new payment flow in checkout. That is great feedback. Thank you!
