For years, @RepThomasMassie was popular among MAGA: until he opposed a couple of Trump policies, and Trump told his followers to hate Massie him because he's a "grandstander" who accomplishes nothing. Overnight, huge numbers of MAGA followers started reciting that like some mantra.
Last night, Massie just helped defeat renewal of warrantless domestic spying on Americans: accomplishing more -- just in this alone -- than 90% of House members.

Most recently, we've seen two wild examples: - Streamer Sneako got aggressively confronted and threatened in NYC while livestreaming. - Conservative journalist Savannah Hernandez was assaulted (pushed to the ground) by protesters while covering an anti-ICE demonstration in Minneapolis. Whether you're on the left, right, or somewhere in between, saying the “wrong” thing (or even just recording/filming) can turn into real-world confrontation or violence fast. Be careful out there. The internet isn’t as consequence-free as it used to be.

The problem here: NATO is a defensive alliance. Article 5, the only clause that obligates members to fight, has been triggered once, after 9/11, when America was attacked.
Over 1,100 allied troops died in the war that followed. Trump has previously called those contributions inadequate.
Iran didn't attack the U.S., the U.S. attacked Iran.
Trump calls NATO members 'confused' about the alliance but actually he's just angry it doesn't work the way he wants it to.

The weather patterns we are seeing now bear close resemblance to those of the 1930s, when we had multiple La Niña years back-to-back with little interruption. That has also largely been the case since 2015–16.
With a major El Niño developing currently, the drought spanning coast to coast should ease and the intense spring / summer heatwaves over the U.S. should ease. Depending on how much lag there is, it may take several months for that to happen, though.
Summer could be quite toasty.
