Can you make any app viral?

After testing many ways of showing my app on tiktok
Here's my latest thoughts
Don't listen to people on X claiming it's just easy or just use openclaw
If you don't know how to do it.
OpenClaw or anything else won't do anything good.
Slideshows create views
But that's just noise. If your slideshows don't make million of views it's just a waste of time. Views to download rate is... insanely low.
(Got an account with million views yes)
Video seems to convert better
But
As soon as you promote... tiktok or people skip your content really fast
Apple stopped showing your app that easily on stores
If you really want to be found
- take a short name and put it in title
- pay a few apple ads on that name.
After a while you will be referenced on the search.
(Plz Apple fix this)
On play store you don't have to.
You may think "My app has no traction let's skip it"
But that's organic
If your app is niche - there is a lot of chances that people will skip your content.
Before moving to next project :
- run a few apple search ads
- meta ads or tiktok
Then check retention - people giving feedback
If you can unlock it with ads then go
No shame using ads
I personnaly think all apps can be shared on tiktok
I may be bad at this game and I accept it
But that's my opinion.

3x 30-day user retention on Kubbo
Two months ago, I was frustrated.
My app had potential (1,000+ reviews on the Play Store),
but people weren’t coming back enough.

A complete redesign of the gamification,
plus two months of micro-adjustments,

Google needs to improve the play store.
I am sure that with a few changes this could be way more profitable for them and us.
(Like ability to reset reviews and ask to delete reviews that complain for price)

Most paywalls are identical.
- 75% of apps have highlighted pricing
- 60% have multiple plans
- 55% show a feature list
- 54% communicate a free trial
Avoid these:
- Only 1.5% of paywalls have countdown timers
- Barely any apps have progress bars in their paywalls
Here's your cheat sheet for a high-converting paywall:
- Highlight one plan
- Show two options
- Explain the value in minimal words
