As I sit here with a premium pastry and a cup of tea, that was a pleasant, resonating read. I can't fully square the circle of why, when we are 2pts off the play offs with 12 to play for we aren't all hyped up for a PO push, and to your point in the article, X is a litmus test but the same feeling seems to be felt in the real world too. I do think club comms plays a part in this lack of late season excitement. I can't understand why, after the past few years, we aren't all in on bigging up a play off push - let's be honest there's no guarantee we're getting one next year. For some reason it's barely mentioned so it creates a void that, for me, is filled with "well the club sees what we see, it's unlikely and therefore they don't believe we can do it, so why should I?!". Dare to dream a bit.

@Reading106 For me, the whole clap before the game performative nonsense. You have to earn that as a manager, not just assume people will clap you because you are new in town. It’s cringy & arrogant. And I’ve said since early on in his tenure, but very few, if any, sing his name.

Genuine question, I know it's hard to separate performances from feelings, but it feels there's zero connection between fans and Leam Richardson. Why is that? Where's it come from? Is there something outside of performances driving that? #Readingfc

@ks2418 I think it’s very unlikely we make play offs anyway. I’d imagine the ownership will keep him until the end of the season given the few games left and evaluate after the 2nd May. My worry is they persist into the summer with him.

@paoloclementio Second half managed quite well. Took us about 38 minutes to have a proper go. But we just allow teams to play against us, we never seem to take the games to them.
