Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one. He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President. He hates that I consistently call him out. This is State Representative David Lowe of Texas (@DavidLowe4Texas). He is advocating for the abolition of abortion at the Texas GOP Convention. It honestly brought tears to my eyes to see a legislator so boldly advocate for the preborn. There are few legislators in this country as dedicated as David Lowe. This kind of thing, holding signs and calling the culture to repent, doesn't just belong in the streets. Legislators are to be prophetic towards a culture that kills it's children. There is no divide between the political and prophetic. We are to be Christians in all areas of life. Praise God for men like David Lowe being raised up to fight for our littlest neighbors.

This argument is misleading. Abolitionists aren't in favor of 13 yr olds becoming mothers. If a 13 yr old is pregnant, she's ALREADY a mother. We would rather her continuing being a mother instead of becoming a murderer. The 13 yr old needs help to raise not murder her child.

Right now, pregnancy center directors tell us that abortion-minded women are walking through their doors, handing over the abortion pills, and choosing life. Right now, women who have already taken the first abortion pill are reaching out for reversal — and babies are being saved. Under the abolitionist approach, that stops. The frightened young woman with a pill in her hand does not walk into a pregnancy center if doing so could send her to prison. The woman who regrets taking an abortion pill halfway through does not pick up the phone if the call itself could be used as evidence against her. The abolitionist equal protection approach is not tenable, and its advocates have not reckoned with what pursuing it would actually cost. It has produced no laws, only opposition to the measures that ended legal abortion in Texas.
