@orb_demon @HowThingsWork_ Given the liquid above the water is clear, its more likely avtur ( kerosene) than avgas. 100LL avgas was tinted with purple dye, and 140 AvGas was tinted with green dye.

Pilots drain a vial of jet fuel before flights to check for water. Any clear layer shows contamination that could threaten engine safety. 🛩️
