NEW: Two hot air balloon occupants left stranded after getting stuck 920 feet in the air on a cellphone tower in Longview, Texas. Longview Fire Department was seen climbing up the tower to save the two occupants. It took them an hour to reach the balloon. Both occupants were rescued and taken to the hospital.

treasure chests are now open. reading some of the early reactions, I want to level-set on how Wave 1 was designed. - half of our fees went straight into the rewards pool. - roughly a fifth of that pool funded our grand prizes. the rest was spread across thousands of everyday chests. this program was built for real users who want to make OpenSea their one-stop shop for onchain trading. if you came in expecting an immediate positive ROI on trading fees, the math was never going to support that for most participants — especially with last week’s market chop. we also provided Treasures inside these chests, which as we’ve shared will be meaningfully considered by the Foundation at TGE. our rewards program will continue with Wave 2. i appreciate all the feedback, we are listening. thanks for being on this journey with us.

new opensea chest update: apparently most ppl are now at Iron and Steel chest now (which is tbvh easily upgradeable by doing simple @opensea daily quests) it seems competition are really heating up 3.7% of opensea users are in wood (13.5k ppl) 68% or 'most' of os users are now at Iron (248k ppl) 22.7% of os users are in steel (82k) but from titanium chest there is only 2% (7k ppl) followed by chromium chest 1% (4.3k ppl) then cobalt chest 0.8% (2.9k ppl) then amethyst 0.72% (2.6k ppl) topaz 0.47% (1.7k ppl) sapphire 0.17% (618 ppl) ruby 0.13% (484 ppl) ember 0.07% (257 ppl) solar 0.02% (65 ppl) I'm hearing words that it only takes like 10k in fees to get qualify for a solar chest? not sure how true I'm currently at Ruby but if that's the case I might really try aim for a Solar not to mention it's a good gamble for pudgies, bayc among all the other top nft drops and potential increment of $SEA tokens too
