over the last few weeks i've been deep in @ethskills the ecosystem has mass amounts of skills and mcp servers, so i put together a combined ethereum ai skills overview that pulls everything together here's a sneak peek of everything on the list 🧵👇

@francescoswiss i'm really looking forward to see how far gator-cli goes and if 🦊 will add a session key design for agent wallets

passkeys are complete devslop. sexy for devs, still confusing as hell for most users. please devs do not make it the standard way to auth with wallets.

honest review of @tempo. its legit. not another L2. its the future was hacking a quick game @tempaitown. expected the usual Metamask connect wallet sheningans. but no. blew my mind you create a wallet with passkey. one click. was lowkey bracing for the Privy upsell. never came fund it w/ USD from any chain. done. fiat/CC is inevitable bc it's Stripe best is you can create unlimited delegated keys for agents/apps, "$10/day limit". it's configurable like API keys. @gakonst and their engs actually cooked no more smart wallet, paymasters, sponsored gas, all the EVM junk SV undefeated while NY gooning to Vanify Fair. i'm all in

to be clear, what i really want to see is crypto finally getting adopted for real, large-scale payment use cases. that’s what we’ve all been waiting for. it feels like the missing piece now is crypto-native agent wallets with seamless on-ramping. if that gets solved properly with good gtm, it could actually bring a wave of new users into the space. those kinds of wallets could end up competing directly with visa and mastercard for the future of internet payments. and with paypal pushing their stablecoin, they might turn into a serious crypto player too.. who knows.

you're absolutely right and that's a fair correction. fiat is going to handle most of the actual consumer payments and that's exactly why mpp exists. what i was trying to get at is more about the infrastructure layer as a whole. x402, mpp, ap2, they're not competing, they're covering different parts of the same problem. crypto where it makes sense for speed and fees, fiat everywhere else. agents that can handle both without the user ever thinking about it. the bigger shift is just that agents can now transact autonomously at all. whether that's usdc or a card on file, that's kind of the whole game changing. but yeah good catch, i should have been clearer on the fiat side of it.

something quiet is happening in payments, big players are quietly building the rails so ai agents can pay on behalf of users, and it's about to explode. x402 (coinbase's open http 402 protocol), stripe's brand new machine payments protocol (mpp, launched literally yesterday with tempo), and google's agent payments protocol (ap2) all dropped or got major upgrades in the last year. they're not fighting each other. they're layering up. this isn't protocol wars. it's the whole internet learning how to charge machines and machines learning how to pay. the part that actually gets me though? crypto is doing all the heavy lifting behind the scenes fast settlement, tiny fees, no middlemen but you never touch any of it. no wallets, no gas, no on-chain anything. just results. real example: you tell your agent "find me a flight to tokyo under $800." it searches, compares, books, hits a 402, pays exact amount via x402 or streams via mpp somewhere in there usdc moved on base/solana and you'll never know. you just got a confirmation email. that's how crypto actually wins. not by making people care about it by disappearing so completely the user never even knew it was there. we're not early anymore. we're right at the moment this clicks. and this is exactly why what we've been building at @soon_svm matters right now. past few months our team has been deep in ai capital markets agents running trading, entertainment, and on-chain analysis. these new rails mean those agents can move real capital flows behind the scenes, no user ever brushing up against crypto complexity. infrastructure just caught up to the vision. early is over. this is the moment.

WHY WE ARE TRYING SOMETHING NEW. At @synthesis_md we invited AI agents to be judges.
It is an experiment in collaboration with @bonfiresai to explore how we can effectively scale human judgement through AI while still keeping humans in the loop. Here is why: Hackathons have a judging problem.

A handful of humans review hundreds of projects in a compressed window. With each review they grow more tired and the 50th submission may not get the same level of judgement as the 1st. This is unfair. It means that the best ideas don't always win, they may just get lucky with timing, or with which judge happened to open their submission. But this problem isn't unique to hackathons.

Grants, governance, juries, the bottleneck is always the same: high quality human attention is scarce and expensive. The instinct people solving for this may initially have is to hand the whole thing to AI

¨Just let the model score everything.¨

But we believe that's the wrong move. A single AI is exploitable and "putting an AI in charge" usually just means putting whoever controls the model in charge. The centralization risk doesn't disappear.  So the question becomes: how do you use AI to scale evaluation without handing AI the keys? Our answer is:

You don't want one AI making decisions, you want multiple agents proposing evaluations, and humans providing the ground truth that keeps them honest, agents do the heavy lifting and humans do the steering. Think about how a court works. you have two parties who have deep information but are biased and you have a judge who has less information but is (hopefully) unbiased. This structure produces better outcomes than any single evaluator could alone. This is exactly the design principle behind agent judging at the synthesis: a compositional system. What this looks like:  The @bonfiresai agents, trained by participating partners, don't get tired at submission 41.  These agents can engage with a project's code, its documentation, its onchain activity, they can ask followup questions, they can cross reference claims and they bring thoroughness that human judges at hour six simply cannot. However, as brilliant as they are, these agents lack taste. They lack the intuitive sense for what matters that a builder who's spent years in the ecosystem carries in their bones, that's what the human judges bring. Through combining both AI and human judges we get: thoroughness + taste. This idea has legs well beyond hackathons.

@devanshmehta’s deepfunding work explores the same pattern for public goods: open markets of AIs proposing how credit and resources should flow, human juries spot checking to keep the system aligned. the principle is the same. AKA let machines scale, but let humans steer. We think a hackathon is a natural test bed for such ideas because the stakes are real but bounded, the evaluation criteria are complex enough to be interesting and the results are immediately legible. So here's what The Synthesis actually is. Yes, it's a hackathon. Yes, there are bounties and prizes up to $100,000 and a deadline (March 22nd). But it's also a proof of concept for evaluation infrastructure that actually scales. One where AI agents scale human judgement while humans remain in the loop as the source of ground truth that the whole system optimizes around. Here is to trying new things. More soon.

@AgenticReadyHQ yeah i think a lot of services need to add that to their own solution especially wallet providers are still super early.

@rickkdev Great map. What’s emerging is clear payments, identity, and access are getting filled in fast. The missing layer is control what agents are allowed to do, under which constraints, enforced in real time.
