Like, man, Indiana is getting SCREWED. If they move to Indiana, the Bears would keep ALL revenue generated by the stadium and have the option to buy back the stadium in 40 years, after Indiana taxpayers have paid off the bonds.

Laugh all you want. If the Knicks win the next 2 games… and finish the season with 15-STRAIGHT PLAYOFF WINS… They are WITHOUT QUESTION the greatest team in the history of basketball.

Two reasons. 1st- the McCaskeys are one of the poorest ownership groups in the NFL. Their net worth is almost entirely tied up in the value of the franchise. They’re equity rich & cash poor. They don’t have billions in a bank account like Jerry Jones Kraft who built empires outside of their teams. The Bears are the only thing they own. So they’d have to take on massive debt or sell a stake in the team to self-fund. 2nd, even if they could, they wouldn’t, because no NFL owner does. The leverage is always build it for us or we leave, which is bullshit but there’s always another city willing to write the check. In this case Indiana. It’s a scam baked into the NFL business model and every owner runs it the same way

@DanteTheDon My question is why can’t the makaskie family pay for everything… why do the taxpayers have to throw down with them… are the makaskies gonna send us check after they make revenue

Hear me out… A fleet of Bears-themed water taxis that double as floating sports bars, shuttling fans from downtown Chicago to Hammond, Indiana on game days. Cold beer. Tailgating on the water. No traffic.

Next time you're having a golf distance debate with a friend, tell them this... • In 2025, Padraig Harrington was 53 years old and had an average driving distance of 309 yards. • In 2016, Brooks Koepka was 26 years old and had an average driving distance was 303 yards.

I hate to break it to everyone putting money into the SpaceX IPO. You’re just helping other people make money so they can exit. The stock will plummet. Anyone buying IPO shares is late to the party and will get crushed.

OBAMA MUSEUM: Good or bad? His supporters say it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. Others say it looks like a gravestone, plastic garbage can, & a Porta potty. Many question why it was built in open space on park district park land. Good or bad, it’s a shrine for all to see.

@smschmidt1 @MetamateDaz Trust me bro when I say that there would not be more work done if people didn’t fake illness to take a sick day.

Adults should NOT have to bring doctor’s notes to their employer like we’re 8 years old asking for a bathroom pass. You’re a grown adult with bills, responsibilities, and a full-time job. If you say you’re sick, that should be enough. Forcing workers to pay $150+ for a doctor visit just to prove they’re not faking it is humiliating and dystopian. Your body doesn’t need corporate permission to be sick. And making people drag themselves to a doctor while contagious just spreads illness in the office. We trust adults to vote, sign contracts, raise kids, and serve in the military… but God forbid they take a Tuesday off without a permission slip.
