Canadian Coast to Coast KM 0 We are driving from Horseshoe Bay to Nova Scotia using Tesla FSD 100% of the time. No human input is the goal - that means no turn signals, no accelerator taps, etc. The whole drive is being recorded with multiple GoPros recording the entire time, as well as our drive is being tracked live (link below) One way or another this will be an amazing journey and I can’t wait to see how it goes. @JonBbC_TechGeek I was letting my Model 3 drive me home from HD and started playing my bagpipe practice chanter. I didn’t realize I was the “driver” until me pulled into my driveway. Granted, only a 10 minute drive, but I need to not get so comfortable! 😂

The strategy Tesla has been using for rollouts, which has been the same for a very long time I think is unique but not everybody’s cup of tea, but it works for them. I am not jealous of EA people. They do a very important job. They don’t get paid for it. And it’s not about the videos. It’s not about their opinions in the videos either. They are driving around with new software and Tesla is gathering data. that is the important part of what they do getting the data to Tesla in a real time situation. And then the next wave releases are small and get bigger and if needed a new version gets put out. Unlike your iPhone, this is critical since there are safety issues and people’s lives are at stake. I think what happens is people get impatient waiting for software even though it is not ready yet. I am in that group as well because just like you and everyone else I love that new software. It’s like getting a new car. it’s like getting amazing improvements. However, if something is not ready for prime time it is best to wait until it is. I just think that Tesla does such a great job with everything when it comes to getting software fixed and out there and people like @DirtyTesLa @ChuckCook @blktsla @JonBbC_TechGeek and so many others take their weekends and hours testing software, so Tesla gets the data, and then making videos so we can see what’s going on too. All of the EA people have my extreme respect, support, and thanks.

Hey Tesla, We need to have an honest conversation about the Tesla software rollout strategy. The over-the-air model is incredible, but the hierarchy is broken. A few dozen early access accounts (Fav. Influencers) get the goods on day one. The rest of the fleet waits weeks or months for the same code. Now apply this exact same model to the Optimus robot. Is Optimus going to seamlessly download critical updates on its own? Or is my household robot going to be subject to the same influencer-first waiting list? If you're going to make me wait 80 days to upgrade my Optimus just so a few people can post videos first... I'm not buying it. LOL Sincerely, Lifetime Tesla customer

My 9 year old daughter has had a crush on this boy since school started. She has always been afraid to talk to him until today. She finally worked up her courage, walked over to him and asked if he would be her friend. Him being a dumb boy, he said NO! and ran away. She has been crying since she got home. She said her heart is broken and she had never felt this way before. She was so nervous and has been talking about being brave enough to talk to him for months and all she wanted was to be his friend 😢 I stopped on my way home and got her ice cream and flowers. Fellow dads, if you have a daughter, you need to show her how she should be treated and set her standards high.
