5) Got to spend some time with Stephen Root, the actor who stole the movie "Office Space" with his "I believe that's my stapler" Milton character. I asked him where he got it. "There was a kid in my 6th grade class who talked like that," Root said. "I just did an impression!"

4) Clooney wanted to stay in shape, so he'd ask me to throw him old-timey footballs during long breaks, him still in the scratchy wool and leather uni. It was great fun to make an international sex symbol have to dive for bombs. He was so nice, he never even got mad at me.

3) Clooney + 6-3 co-star John Krasinski would go hard at hoops during lunch. Both were terrific. They played one final grudge match, w/ the loser having to buy a full-on NBA goal standard for the winner. You can see it in the backyard of Clooney's house in Lake Como, Italy.
