My car battery died yesterday. The dealership wanted $250 for a new battery + replacement. AutoZone wanted $300 for a new battery + replacement. Instead of paying them — I watched a YouTube video and learned how to replace the battery myself. I went to the dealership and bought the battery for $180, went home and changed it. I saved $70 plus learned something new 😎

That’s gone now - it’s all cultural/religious silos. I’m visibly Indian I feel like an outsider yet there have never been this many Indo-Canadians.

Serious question; where do white teenagers work now? I swear, 10 years ago, entry level jobs were done by kids in the neighborhood you knew. Now all those jobs are done by immigrants. In Canada, mostly East Indians. Nothing against them, but just curious where all the white kids went.

@girdley United’s app development team is bloody amazing. Their app is hands down the best airline app I’ve ever used. I had a flight delay and the app informed me, had given me multiple options and had a live agent ready to handle this via text chat, audio or video call.

This entire shower floor is covered by just one single, custom cut slab of granite(?) instead of your typical tiles. No grout - feels nice on the feet and probably easy to clean, but I’m assuming expensive to do since they also made this single piece incline downward to the centre for water to drain.
