There’s really nothing left for Justin Gaethje to prove. He has made more than enough money, captured the undisputed lightweight title, and cemented his place in MMA history.
He is the only fighter ever to hold four different UFC belts: the interim lightweight title, the BMF title, the White House belt, and the undisputed lightweight championship.
That alone speaks to the legacy he has built inside the Octagon.
At this point, the smartest thing he could do is retire while he's still on top. Walk away with your health, save your brain cells, and leave the sport on your own terms.
Very few fighters get the opportunity to ride off into the sunset after a victory of this magnitude.
Justin Gaethje has always been on of favorite fighters. A warrior respected by fans, fighters, and legends alike.
