Content Creator fighting for what I believe is a mistake made for inauthentic content. I was only given 1000 chars text appeal to prove appeal. no video appeal.

Hey @TeamYouTube, hoping you can help me sort this out. I submitted my Inauthentic Content demonetization appeal on May 18 (my local date, Australia) exactly as the appeal instructions stated, and got the on-screen confirmation it went through. After refreshing, the dashboard now reads: "The last day to submit an appeal was May 18, 2026" — with the submit button gone. Nothing in the instructions mentioned the submission needed to be in before May 18, or that the deadline ran on a specific timezone. I followed the page as written, on the correct calendar date, in good faith. On the demonetization itself: my channel genuinely doesn't fit Inauthentic Content. There are no templates and no mass production — every video is made individually with its own scenario, pacing, and storyline. I add heavy editing, custom captions, my own sound design, and original voice commentary through my Foxxy character (including dialogue and captions for animals/clips). The substance varies video to video, which is exactly what the monetization policy asks for. Would really appreciate this being escalated and my appeal be reviewed by a human for proper review so the channel can be looked at on its merits. I've done everything in the order of instruction in good faith Channel: youtube.com/channel/UCBD-Z…

@ur_mrskeleton @TeamYouTube Also still waiting. I’ve seen people who stopped uploading after being flagged inauthentic, or who never even appealed, get auto-remonetised out of the blue. Yet we’re still here waiting.. if we’re even in line to be reinstated that is

Day 2: $5,047.35 💵 Just 1 channel. Monetized for just 2 days. I've created the most OP Ai Model that is making these videos. Fully automated while you drink your Corona. These videos are unlike anything our community has been able to make. Now we can enter niches that we haven't been able to enter until now. And dominate. My success rate entering niches with this tool is now absolutely insane: 63%. I'm talking entirely new niches where I have no unfair advantages. 63% success rate without collab feature spamming. WITH collab feature spamming? The percentages get even more insane. For every 3 channels I create, approximately 2 are successful now. That being said, the demand for me to release this model to our community has been heard. If you want to be one of the first on the waitlist to get access to this model when I release it to just a few in the community, signup here: forms.gle/v4ZyC4VZGsHM4T…

@Cap5612 Yup, but still waiting... I was even told by YouTube support "It is really worrying that your monetization has been suspended due to inauthentic content, especially when you’ve put so much work into your channel" - yet still remain demonetized...

YouTube has reinstated monetization for many channels in the last 24 hours, even some without appeals. I think YouTube understands that their AI created a mess with genuine channels. However, some creators are now facing false AdSense bans too. If this keeps happening, creators' trust in YouTube will be more negatively impacted than now. YouTube needs to ensure that if content is genuine and takes much effort, the creator should not face even small problems from YouTube's side.

YOUTUBE DEMONETIZED MY CHANNEL FOR 39 DAYS NOW!!! @TeamYouTube @YouTube @nealmohan @YouTubeIndia YouTube keeps ignoring my undeniable proof and only responds randomly. Whenever I mention other creators who got remonetized, I get completely ghosted or ignored, and they still are not responding to my emails or DMs. YouTube is now saying: “A significant portion of your channel is not aligned with our policies, specifically regarding mass-produced content.” No specific videos. No clear explanation. No examples. I reviewed my channel many times and couldn’t find a single video that violates their policies. I reviewed the thumbnails, titles, descriptions, everything. Every video is different from the others: different topics, different scene setups, lighting, characters, environments, and scripts. I’m seeing many creators get their monetization back after tweeting, and YouTube even admitted their system makes mistakes. So why are creators like us, who spend countless hours animating, still waiting for a proper review? If my content is truly “inauthentic/mass-produced,” then why are ads still running on my videos while YouTube is still making money from them? How can something be inauthentic enough to demonetize me, but still fine enough for YouTube to profit from? They only say “wait 90 days, make changes, and reapply,” but what am I supposed to change when no example is even included? I NEED A FAIR REVIEW @TeamYouTube Many creators who were demonetized for the same “inauthentic content” issue got remonetized, like @punit_verma67 @Earthfanboy0 @real_Monumental @B3stCarllYT @olleshortz @ridethetiamat @ZzhuRafa, and I congratulate them, but where is my fair review @TeamYouTube? This many creators getting demonetized clearly shows there is a mistake in the system, and someone at YouTube needs to fix it. I hope this mistake gets resolved. Also thanks to @Pranishb_ @RayDocsProd @1Skilaw @danbayron6 @luna_and16 @4ngelComics and @punit_verma67 for supporting and reposting my tweets. I hope every one of them gets their monetization back. #inauthenticcontent #youtube #youtubedemonetization #creatorsupport #youtubecreators #contentcreator #monetization #youtubepartner #fairreview #fixyoutube #youtubepolicy #supportcreators

¡YouTube finally restored my monetization! After more than a month, Youtube recognized the removal was a mistake during the review process. Thanks to @TeamYouTube for taking another look at my case, and thanks to everyone who helped give visibility to my complaint and supported me during this process. I’m obviously grateful to have my channel back, but honestly, it’s concerning that errors like this can affect creators for weeks or even months. So, I want to share what helped me in case other creators are going through something similar (no need to DM me or anything — I’ll leave everything here): 1️⃣ I made a public video explaining the entire situation: - the reason for the demonetization, - why I believed it was incorrect, - and showing evidence/screenshots. (You don’t even need to show your face; I only used my voice.) 2️⃣ I asked my community for support. Comments, engagement, and shares help bring visibility to the case. 3️⃣ I paid for X/Twitter Premium. It definitely helped increase reach and visibility so the tweet could reach the YouTube team faster. 4️⃣ I made a tweet (english) summarizing the issue and tagged @TeamYouTube. I attached screenshots and evidence supporting my argument and showing inconsistencies in the review. 5️⃣ YouTube responded to the tweet and sent my channel for an additional review. After that, all I could do was wait. In my case, it took around 3 more days for a final response. I hope this helps other creators going through the same thing. Stay strong and don’t lose hope 💚 #InauthenticContent #YouTube #YouTubeDemonetization #CreatorSupport #YouTubeCreators #ContentCreator #Monetization #YouTubePartner #FairReview #FixYouTube #SupportCreators

Hey @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators I have now filed a formal DSA complaint regarding the demonetization of my channel Rank Up (900k+ subscribers). My channel was flagged for “reused content” even though my Shorts are heavily edited and transformative. It still demonitized since May 12. Every video includes my own editing style, pacing, captions, sound design, structure and creative direction. I spend hours working on each Short. My appeal was rejected very quickly, and it feels like there was no meaningful human review of the evidence I provided. As an EU creator, I am exercising my rights under DSA Articles 17 and 20 for proper justification and fair human oversight. I respect YouTube’s policies and only ask for a fair and transparent review of my case. This channel is a major part of my work and income.

Good news… YouTube finally gave me my monetization back! ❤️ After five months of being unfairly demonetized, I finally managed to recover it. I truly want to thank everyone who commented, shared, and helped me here on Twitter/X. Thanks to all of you, my case was finally reviewed again. And also thank you to @TeamYouTube for taking another look at my case. Honestly, it feels like a dream to be monetized again after so long. These past months were extremely difficult, especially because YouTube was my full-time job. And since I know there are still many creators going through the same situation, I want to share some advice that actually worked for me and some things I recommend avoiding: 1. The best thing you can do is get X/Twitter Premium. It massively increases the visibility of your tweets and especially your replies, which is where you can really get other creators to notice your case and potentially reply to you, helping TeamYouTube notice it too. 2. Make a public video explaining your situation (only if your channel wasn’t unfairly terminated). Ask your community to help by tagging TeamYouTube on Twitter/X. You can also support other creators going through the same thing so they’ll interact with your posts as well. 3. Keep one main pinned post. Use that tweet as the center of everything. Put your strongest evidence there and use it when replying to others. In the following days, make new posts showing different kinds of proof: comments from your community, your editing process, how you make thumbnails, behind-the-scenes content, images, videos, etc. But something VERY important: avoid tagging TeamYouTube with AI-generated images. I’ve noticed they tend to take cases less seriously when people do that. 4. Post every single day. Keep uploading new proof and revive older tweets by tagging TeamYouTube again. The more activity your case has, the higher the chances someone will see it. The YouTube team receives thousands of replies every day, so it’s difficult for them to notice yours. Sometimes the response you get might even be automated, so you have to keep insisting. It also helps a lot to comment on posts from other affected creators. 5. Don’t waste time with traditional support. In my experience, the only real way to recover monetization was through Twitter/X. Support chats and DMs usually just send automated or copy-paste responses. 6. Make all your tweets in English. Even if your English isn’t perfect, that’s where the team is most active and where your posts will have the most reach. 7. Don’t delete your content. Unless your content is completely AI-generated or clearly violates policies, I do not recommend deleting videos. Most of the time, the problem isn’t the creator or the videos themselves, but the moderation system. In my case, one thing I think may have affected my channel was using YouTube’s “reuse previous video details” feature for descriptions, hashtags, and tags. I honestly recommend avoiding it completely and trying to make every video feel more unique compared to others in your niche. 8. Research MCNs. I don’t know too much about them personally, but I’ve seen many people recommend joining an MCN because they supposedly can help you contact internal YouTube support if you get demonetized. It’s definitely worth researching to hopefully avoid going through this again. I hope at least some of this advice helps someone 🙏 And honestly, the most important thing is don’t give up. Keep tweeting consistently, keep tagging TeamYouTube, and ask people to do the same in the replies. Take care everyone, and don’t lose hope ❤️

I genuinely do not understand this policy. @YouTube first demonetized my channel without giving a clear explanation, then even when I did submit an appeal, it says I apparently haven't. It says I can reapply after 90 days. But during those 90 days, I still have to maintain the eligibility requirements. So I’m expected to keep making content while DEMONETIZED, without even knowing what changes I’m supposed to make? How does that make sense for creators who are actively trying to comply? I don't even know if my appeal was viewed, as it says I didn't even submit an appeal. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators can you please explain how creators are supposed to successfully reapply if Shorts views fall below the 10 million requirement during the waiting period?

It’s been 35 days waiting for a proper review from @TeamYouTube . I asked them to re-review my case, but instead they just opened another ticket and sent me the same generic template reply again telling me I have to wait 90 days. Why am I not getting a specific mention of which of my videos are “inauthentic” and which policy they violate? Why is my hand-animated content, which takes days to animate, getting flagged as mass-produced? It’s not even possible for a human to make more than one animated video in a day, and I’ve only uploaded 146 videos in 2 years. And if my content is truly “inauthentic,” then why are ads still running on my videos? Are my videos authentic enough for YouTube to profit from, but not authentic enough for monetization? Why do the replies instantly stop when I mention other creators who got remonetized after the same error? Why is there no clear explanation? At this point, I already know I’ll probably be ignored again with no response, while creators with huge followings on X get instant replies.

Hey @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators hoping someone can help with a procedural issue. I submitted my YPP appeal by May 18 AEST (my local date, Australia) and got the on-screen confirmation it went through. After refreshing, the dashboard now reads: "The last day to submit an appeal was May 18, 2026" — with the submit button gone. There was no timezone disclosed anywhere on the appeal page. It just said "by May 18, 2026," no timezone. As an Australian creator I followed the instructions on the correct calendar date, in good faith. Not raising the policy decision here; I'm just asking for a procedural review so the appeal can be properly logged on its original confirmation timestamp, or a fresh window opened.
