No grit or stakes. Classic is still popular for a reason maybe we aught to lean into that. Its millenial writing of frienship thats a gag

You need good engagement that can get reactions and interactions. Devs know what they are doing regardless of what content creators are saying

Can we just delete the Arcantina please? Like, completely rip it out and pretend it never existed. I think I’d have to give myself clinical brain damage to get behind its creative direction. What the fuck is going on in California... Is there actually something in the water?

@syclone369 @ccs_game @IamBritneyJeann @BellularGaming It seems like what you might want out of wow is available in classic. Also, the Night elves and Orcs are still fighting over Ashenvale. They go into detail about it in “Exploring Azeroth: Kalimdor” the night elves didn’t accept all of the peace terms.

Don't have a full issue with the Arcantina. But I do think they've got a problem where the entirety of the people there feel like the same person just a bit. Also, there's no quest with Rexxar and Chen. That's whack.

Yes this is exactly what Ive been banging on about. No edge or grit. Peace has its place but its boring to be at peace in a fantasy game. Grounded stories with tangable tension and conflict. We arent here for cozy. We are here intriguing world building and fantasy.

@Warcraft @TheRedShirtGuy Glad to see accountability. But fr slow down. 10-12 weeks is plenty fast. Without proper QA these patches need more time in the oven. I was saddened to see that the sheathing feature not affect back weapons at all. Wether bug or oversight - a let down.

@ccs_game @IamBritneyJeann @BellularGaming I dont even play classic but the storytelling and vibe back then was better. Natural conflict like nelves protecting the forest vs the orcs who need to log for wood in ashenvale. Stories like that are more palatable. Thats what i mean.

@buff_fire_mage Its the writing. The gameplay is fine outside of buggy patches with no QA. The writing is so bad and defanged its practically not warcraft anymore. There is no edge or grit. Its all love and happy friendship fun time.

The lore in this place is so soppy its disgusting. No grit no edge. Game needs more grounded stories like this but not sugary/childlike. Great idea but very poor writing and exexctution. The sop writing is gonna rot this game out.

@shoal_th @BellularGaming The fact this lore is so soppy and sweet its almost child level. Nobody has edge anymore. Everything feels the same. Hand holdy and kumbiya. Lore used to have edge and grit.

@BellularGaming Jokes aside, it's a very logical addition to the game. Devs can now rapidly create housing content that leads to old zones, with no need to worry about WHERE to put those quest NPCs. It's a centralized expansion-agnostic location that can persist through all future expansions.

@IamBritneyJeann @BellularGaming Its called world of …WARcraft? Its in the name? Besides the game could use some grounded conflict. This cosmological threat stuff is so foreign an distant its almost not trad fantasy anymore. Perfect game = world building of classic + conveinence of retail.

@BellularGaming God forbid after 25 years the alliance and horde have a moment of peace and are getting along for a couple expansions. Playing since 08. Sometimes the fan base accuses blizz of losing the plot...when in reality they are moving the plot along and not keeping stagnant and stale.

Heads up - the new 'Choose your Sheathe' does not have 'Sheathe on Hip' options for any weapon that already sheathed on back. Possible oversight? @WarcraftDevs @Warcraft

@Warcraft 3200 would be more achieveable. Still a goal but more fair and acessable than 1% range. Great to see fomo slowly die but this number needs tuned back AND bring back pvp stuff/magetower! Do it cowards!!
