Israel's objectives were NEVER to take over Lebanese territories, it was to cleanse them of weapons and other ammunition so that hezbo's won't be able to harm Israelis across the border. Contrary to what they have you believe, Israel doesn't wish to seize any land from Lebanon, and we only want to live in peace on our side of the border.
