interesting video! thank you for sharing ^^ prompt injection is one thing, and the dependencies that get compromised is another thing. i think the next wave of successful attacks is going to be about getting your malicious code into one of these dependencies without being noticed.

Adobe has allegedly been breached by a threat actor called Mr. Raccoon. The attacker reportedly targeted an Indian support company that works for Adobe. They sent an email that installed a remote access tool on an employee's computer. This gave them access to the employee's webcam and WhatsApp messages. They then tricked the manager to get deeper access inside Adobe. The claimed stolen data includes about 13 million support tickets with personal details, around 15,000 employee records, all HackerOne bug reports, and internal documents. The hacker said Adobe's system let them export all tickets with one click. There is no official statement from Adobe yet

Chinese researchers say they’ve built a fluorine-based lithium battery electrolyte that could potentially push EV range past 600 miles while still working in brutal cold down to -94°F. If it scales, this could be a huge battery breakthrough not just for cars, but also for drones, robots, and other devices that normally struggle in extreme temperatures.

THIS GUY BUILT A VIDEO SEARCH ENGINE THAT RUNS 100% ON YOUR MACHINE no API, no cloud, no transcription. fully local. you type what you're looking for and it finds the exact timestamp in your videos. "person walking a dog near a lake" and it pulls up the exact clip AND goes to the exact time where it happens it uses Qwen3-VL embeddings running locally and the AI actually watches and understands your videos frame by frame no data ever leaves your computer

A post reposted by Japan’s Finance Minister Katayama. Japan’s major oil company ENEOS has succeeded for the first time in producing synthetic fuel (e-fuel) — made without using petroleum — from CO₂ in the air and water at its facility in Yokohama. The demonstration plant’s current production scale is still very small at 1 barrel per day (roughly the size of one drum), but the company aims to scale it up to 10,000 barrels per day by 2040. Although it is still at the experimental stage, this is drawing attention as a new fuel that could reduce dependence on petroleum. In the timeline we’re currently living in, the move away from oil appears to be beginning at the same time as the move away from the US dollar.

Reading the Saturday edition of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (my daily newspaper). There’s an interview between a journalist and an AI expert, and something struck me. In Germany, the conversation around AI is almost entirely framed through fear. Should we “consume” AI in moderation, like a good beer? Who is responsible when it makes mistakes? Does it make us less intelligent if we use it too much? And so on. Not a single question focuses on the upside. Not one tries to explore what AI could actually do for humanity. Instead, the underlying question always seems to be: How much suffering will AI bring? This is absurd.

I’m reading all of these comments and I started to see that these issues have been running for decades. The EU is not budging either — taking no actions to do almost anything. And I wonder now if all of this is by design. Could be due to undercover alignments between the US and EU. To make it hard for businesses to start and grow in Europe. It’s just a thought, no data to confirm the hypothesis …

A recent article in the media said it is sad to see us leaving Europe, because we could have turned the place into the next Switzerland 4.0. As founders of a groundbreaking technology, we are leaving Europe because since 2019 we have found only roadblocks, a level of bureaucracy and inflexibility impossible to navigate. Regulators are unwilling to learn and understand what we are bringing to the market, and the punitive system imposes impossible taxes even before we can deploy the received investment into building our infrastructure. Not only are you sending us away, you are repelling capital that’s looking to advance technology. Allocators told us they are no longer investing in tech like ours in Europe. Sad times for founders in Europe. If you want to build the tech and innovation ecosystem, stop sending us away. That would be a great step forward.

Lisuan Technology has started shipping its G100 series graphics cards, marking China's most powerful homegrown gaming GPU to date. Mass production began in September 2025, and early units are now reaching customers. The top model, the 7G106, uses a 6nm process and comes with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory. It is designed to compete in the mid-range segment, roughly matching the performance of NVIDIA's RTX 4060 in many games and tests. Early benchmarks show it beating the RTX 4060 in some synthetic tests, though it still falls slightly behind NVIDIA's newer RTX 5060.
