My dear @ruffydfire, you’ve now shifted goalpost—and quite amateurishly also. Like a Division 12 reserve goalkeeper for a relegation-bound team. But I’ll be patient with you for now, my dear brother. And I will explain. Are you aware that the payments in question are coming from bonds being raised from THE PRIVATE SECTOR: a wide range of institutional investors—including banks, pension funds, asset managers, trustees, etc? I PUT IT TO YOU THAT, in fact, according to the AFC, “The [initial 501B bond] transaction received strong support from the pension fund investment community with about 50% of the total financing secured from Pension Fund Administrators…” Source: africafc.org/news-and-insig… Do you know what this means? That your own pension fund administrator (PFA)—if you have one—most likely invested in the bond, which is guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the FGN. In other words, Rufai, I put it to you that even you are very likely an investor in the bond 😂 — through your PFA (if you have one). So it’s not like it’s “public money” or “budget money” directly at play here—it’s all coming from the private sector, and the repayments will be going directly to them, and by extension, to the millions of Nigerians who have assets invested with them. So if you don’t trust the judgement of institutional investors—who care very much about the sanctity of their funds—or you think, in your conspiracy-clouded mind, that they’re somehow ALL conspiring to collude with the FGN to do whatever you think they’re doing, then this is 100% on you—and I suggest that first thing tomorrow morning you should contact your PFA, order them to close your account with immediate effect, and henceforth keep your pension money in your wardrobe. And also don’t forget to ask for an audit of your PFA, for somehow conspiring with the President to (as you wildly claim) put money inside multiple approvals for the same purpose—despite my very clear explanation on this matter. Finally, congratulations on being an investor in the power sector bond, and for contributing to a resolution to a lingering problem. Unless of course you don’t have a pension account. In which case I’d ask you to contact @PenComNig for guidance.
oseni rufai@ruffydfire

I asked a question and he evaded the question and abuse Rufai that’s what thy do! They never have answers I ask why do we have approvals in 2024, 2025 and 2026 Till date the Genco’s are suffering and he goes on a wild goose chase to explain what doesn’t make any sense! I am really shocked how the information managers of government don’t even have information and the repeat press releases! Accountability isn’t propaganda! Why will the president approve a 4 trillion Genco bond in 2025 and in 2026 he’s approving another Genco payment! It’s obvious they can’t answer! Let me humor them, you approved 4 trillion in bond payments in 2025 and this year you claim you have scaled it down again. These guys really think we are fools! TOLU, I speak to the Genco’s directly they are not party to any one sided audit by the government! By the way the debt is now over 6 trillion!

@TheVibeJournal @IgumaScott Which governor did he remove ? So you don't know the difference between suspension and removal ? And mind he has the constitutional power under the Nigerian law to suspend a governor for an initial period of six months if the situation warrants it. Please be honest with yourself

🇳🇬 JUST IN: Following INEC’s Decision to Remove ADC National Chairman David Mark and Party NWC from Its Portal, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Aminu Tambuwal and Other ADC Leaders Converge at Yar’Adua Centre for Emergency Press Conference
BSN@Barristerstreet

🇳🇬 JUST IN: “Silence Is No Longer an Option” - Obidient Movement Calls Nationwide Protest to Defend Nigeria’s Democracy The Obidient Movement has called for an immediate nationwide protest, declaring that Nigeria has reached a dangerous turning point where silence is no longer an option. In a strongly worded statement released today, the group warned that the country’s democratic foundations are under serious threat, pointing to growing concerns around the credibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and increasing pressure on opposition voices. According to the movement, when institutions meant to protect the will of the people begin to lose public trust, democracy itself is at risk — and citizens have a responsibility to act. The group is demanding the immediate resignation of the INEC Chairman over what it described as a loss of neutrality and public confidence. It also called for an end to political intimidation and the targeting of opposition figures, warning that Nigeria’s multi-party system must not be allowed to collapse. They further insisted on full respect for party independence, including the internal affairs of opposition parties like the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which they say must be free from interference. As part of its response, the movement announced the start of a coordinated nationwide peaceful protest under the banner #OccupyINEC, to take place across all states and the Federal Capital Territory. In Abuja, protesters are expected to gather at the ADC National Headquarters before proceeding in a peaceful march to the INEC Headquarters, with further details to be communicated. The Obidient Movement made it clear that the action is not driven by anger, but by a sense of duty to protect Nigeria’s democratic future. “Nigeria must not become a one-party state. We will remain peaceful, lawful, and resolute until what is right is done.”

“He is bitter, just like a serial loser that he is. You can see bitterness all over him. He was putting his posters everywhere as if he is a candidate in this election. I saw him begging his community people not to let him down. And because of that we in APGA left his polling unit for him and concentrated on the four wards in his community, we won all the four wards in his own community. Unfortunately for him, the polling unit we left for him, he still couldn't win it, APC defeated him in his own polling unit.” ~ Governor Soludo to Peter Obi. Chai! 😭😭😂

Dangote as an entity paid over N900billion as tax in 2025....that is more than 6% of all tax revenue of Nigeria.... Yet Dangote didn't come on social media to make noise over Nigeria tax reform.... Those empty barrels that have never paid federal tax all their lives are the ones who makes it a national issue.... Amaechi may never pay up to N10,000 federal tax in 2025..... I challenge him to post his federal tax return if I am lying.... Same with all the big men in the opposition trying to play politics with Nigeria revenue that never actually grew in over 40 years between 1980 to 2023 when inflation is considered... I have worked for over 25 years , I have never paid a federal tax.... Over 90% of Nigerians have never paid federal tax all their lives.... If you are talking of VAT.... Over 90% of VAT revenue goes to States and local govt...... Unlike in The US where almost every workers pay federal tax... Over 90% of Nigeria workers don't pay federal tax... Yet if you go to their WhatsApp and coven pages they are actively discussing Tinubu taxes they will never pay in this lifetime.... Over 90% of those who actually pay tax and levies in Nigeria actually pay them to the local govt and states but direct their anger to the federal government.. If you are coming here to argue... You are the reason why the Urhobos will always say... It is better to born a thief than to born a mumu... Proverbs are not for kids....... © Onovughe Igwe

BREAKING: ICPC recovers wiretapping equipment allegedly capable of tapping conversations and sensitive security documents from the Abuja residence of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai The commission said all the suspected items were retrieved in the presence of the former governor’s wife, Hadiza, and his son, Mohammed Bello, during a search on El-Rufai’s residence. The agency also alleged that the former governor declined to cooperate with investigators, opting to remain silent until he is brought before a court. It added that an aide of the former governor linked to the investigation had escaped from the country. The anti-graft body made the claims in processes filed before the court, where El-Rufai is seeking redress and release from detention. The commission also said it obtained a legal order from a Magistrate Court in Bwari in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to detain el-Rufai for 14 days, which is due to expire on Thursday. It denied allegations of arbitrary detention and repression of the former governor and asked the High Court of Justice of the Federal Capital Territory to dismiss el-Rufai’s application alleging violation of his fundamental human rights. ICPC also added that the former governor has corruption allegations to answer, including questions over the whereabouts of €1.4 million; 180 suspicious payments totalling N2,158,799,199 from a Consolidated Revenue Account linked to Kaduna State’s IGR account; and transfers to undisclosed accounts amounting to N428,122,180.18, among others. - Journalist KC

Breaking! DSS Strikes Again, Captures Sixth Owo Church Attacker *High-profile ISWAP Commander hid in Edo Village for 4 years* Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested the sixth person involved in the 2022 attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state, in which over 40 worshippers lost their lives and scores more were left injured. The DSS is currently prosecuting five persons — Idris Omeiza (25), Al Qasim Idris (20), Jamiu Abdulmalik (26), Abdulhaleem Idris (25), and Momoh Otuho Abubakar (47) for allegedly carrying out acts of terrorism. For nearly four years, the sixth suspect evaded arrest, making him one of the most wanted fugitives in Nigeria. A security source disclosed that DSS, operatives, who had for years been on the trail of the sixth suspect, identified as Sani Yusuf, arrested him in Iguosa community, along Powerline in Ovia North Local Government Area of Edo State. According to the source, Yusuf, a high-profile commander of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) had after the Owo church attack, temporarily slipped into Kano before deciding to relocate to the sleepy community in Edo State. The source further disclosed that Yusuf has since confessed to being involved in the planning and execution of the Owo church massacre. In addition, continued the source, he confessed to other terrorist attacks by ISWAP, including the July 2022 Suleja military barracks attack, and kidnappings in Kaduna State and environs. "He admitted his role in the Owo church attack, the Zuma Rock checkpoint assault, which claimed the lives of five soldiers, and several ISWAP kidnap operations," the source disclosed. "Yusuf also disclosed that he served under other ISWAP top commanders like Abu Ikirimah, who was arrested by the DSS in 2024," another source offered. "This arrest marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of justice for the victims of the Owo church attack, the soldiers killed at Zuma Rock checkpoint in Suleja, and underscores the relentless campaign by the DSS in the fight against terrorism," he declared.
