there is conversation regarding me not paying creatives for commissions. one individual has been relentlessly harassing me because of an oversight on me not reposting their content. a month ago i offered to pay his full rate and formally apologized (attached) for being unable to repost his content to lead my audience to find his page. it was a fundamental oversight on my behalf. although they haven’t stopped harassing me. i have never not paid out animators. I have commissioned thousands of artists and i will continue to commission more because i believe in propelling art forward. love ❤️

For example, and employer can simply dislike you and claim you're being let go for anther reason.

Here's a list of issues that are imperative you mention solutions for, or at least acknowledge: -The delay -The roadmap -PvP (cheaters, networking, sbmm ruining every portal mode, sandbox balance) -The PvE meta (rocket pulses cannot continue to be straight up better than most heavies. Abilities cannot continue to make primaries worthless and everyone invincible. This is insanely boring) -The insane communication drought -Plans moving forward for the Portal (everyone hates it) And lastly, the abysmal content drought we're in right now. This lack of communication hurts Marathon as well by garnering negative community sentiment from your core playerbase before the game even launches. Please, I want this game to be good more than anyone, but the way you are handling it screams that you genuinely do not care at all.

mark my words. if Marathon does well, if Marathon doesnt flop, when it launches... Destiny 2 will be the DEADEST its EVER been. You will get mongoosed in control 3 times in a row on NA servers old bugs + new bugs and crashes. you'll see D2 neglect like youve never seen before

@NerosCinema @CharlesJhallory The og hunt was an event in borderlands 2 that allowed you to get the grog nozzle permanently without holding a quest, there are also a ton of enemies left over from events and stuff. Borderlands 2 also got frequent updates in a style similar to what live service would have been.

I was incredibly disappointed with Borderlands 4, like many other players. That got me curious and I looked it up: a 14 year old Borderlands 2 almost has as many players on Steam Mind you, Borderlands 4 was the #3 best selling game of 2025. Absolutely mind blowing

Also yes, retention is probably the most important thing to a live service gaming company it is in fact what allows the game to prosper more often than not. (Set to all time btw)

Everyone’s losing their minds over Marathon’s price, screaming, “They copied ARC Raiders!” I get it, I feel the same rage when I walk into a burger joint and see a $9 burger, the exact same price as the one down the street. Are we living in a world where every burger costs nine bucks? HOW DARE THEY?! The audacity is criminal. If you want to complain about the cost, that’s your choice. $40 is a lot for some people. Three armor skins in Destiny 2 can run you $45, literally more than a whole game. Escape rooms cost around $36 an hour. Suddenly, $40 for a full game doesn’t seem so bad when you put it in that perspective. Sure, someone could argue that games charging full price while also selling microtransactions is a problem, but that’s the reality of live-service gaming. You know your wallet better than anyone else. Play the games you want, skip the ones you don’t, and spend your money however you see fit. The “copying” drama isn’t worth your blood pressure. If Marathon isn’t worth $40 to you, just don’t buy it. If you want to make the argument that the burger isn’t worth the price, take it in that direction instead. I’m not actually mad over this, just laughing a little bit.
