After months of unnecessary delays from Senate Democrats, I’ve negotiated a great deal, with the help of Rep. Rylee Linting, to extend Michigan's participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact. This means 8,000 doctors keep their licenses in Michigan without interruption, and patients across our state can continue accessing the care they need, protecting up to 100,000 daily appointments. Special thanks to Rep. Linting for leading on this critical issue. I’m confident Gov. Whitmer will sign it swiftly. Michiganders deserve reliable healthcare and House Republicans delivered.
