@King_Sukunaaa None of these artists had “degrees,” dipshit. They were craftsman and understudies of other great artists, working as stonemasons and apprentices.

Especially Irish immigrants that would have never been there in the first place. Fucking retarded plot, if they’re actually is one. If it wanted to be accurate, the baddies would’ve been black too, since black and black crime is far more prevalent than white on black crime ever was for the last hundred years.

You’re right, life was so much better for several thousand years when one spent 12 hours a day seven days a week in a coal mine, or working your fields from 4 AM to dusk every day just so your family could eat plain potatoes. You’re just spoiled as fuck. Your survival is up to you.

The phrase "nobody wants to work anymore" is hilarious... Like, no dude, people don't want to: - Commute 2 hours daily - Miss their kids growing up - Trade their entire life for rent - Get laid off with zero warnings - Work 50 hours for 40 hours pay Fix the system. not the workers.

@drantbradley Are you kidding? The 80s was “ every girl’s crazy about a sharp dressed man,” cocaine, and double breasted suits working on Wall Street! There is “dressing well,” but there’s also dressing respectfully.

Don’t be dim. I mean the McDonald’s job is a “first job” where you learn responsibilities, showing up on time, dealing with customer service, aspiring for something greater. Of course this could mean an 18 year old fresh out of high school, or a septuagenarian who wants to stay busy. Running the till isn’t meant to be a lifelong profession.

@AbeNormal93 @itsdesserts @UziCryptoo And the point still stands that you're expecting non-teenagers to fill executive roles, but who do you expect to cook and take orders during the day when teens are in school?

Yes, a cashier at McDonalds SHOULD be able to afford rent, groceries, & bills on just that 1 paycheque alone. THAT'S WHAT JOBS ARE FOR.

Meh, wants and needs. In my late twenties I just needed a tidy one bedroom to woo the gals and three dozen oysters on the half shell (if you can believe it, during happy hour in the Garden District I’d get them for 25 cents a piece, fresh and rinsed.) Now at 50, I just want my wife and small children to be as happy as possible.

@AbeNormal93 @sixfootcandy I'm right there with you; we're the same cohort. Doesn't mean I have to ignore objective fact. Zoomers and Millennials are doing beans and rice, too. I only ever see people over 50 eating out.

As a Gen Xer, I can tell you boomers and even my own generation comparing their 20s to today’s 20-30 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $600 for a West Hollywood apartment at 23. Today it’s $3500. Burgers weren’t $20, they were $6 to $8 in a nice restaurant. Life is not comparable. It’s a completely different world now.

$65,000/year sounds great until you do the maths. $14,300 federal tax $4,970 state tax $4,973 FICA $18,000 rent $7,200 car + insurance $6,000 food $1,800 phone + wifi $2,400 utilities Left over: $5,357/year. That's $446/month to "build your future."

@j_fishback How about we just stop taxing productive people for being productive and they can VOLUNTARILY decide where the money THEY made should go?

Yes. Adults should be supervisors, shift and store managers (all positions that come with a higher wage with experience). Average rent gets cheaper with roommates. If the demand for low skilled labor is high, wages increase. Norway has no minimum wage laws. A new McDonald’s employee there averages $19.50/hr. (probably more now since I haven’t looked up the stats for 5 years). These are meant to be first jobs, not forever jobs. Believing the contrary is bigotry of low expectations.

@AbeNormal93 @itsdesserts @UziCryptoo You're immediately backpedaling. Do you think non-teenagers should be working there or not? And if they do, should they not be paid enough to afford the average rent in the area?

@eye_ot_republic @Thehorrorkid Emmet Till DID do. 3 black men assisted in his murder. There’s no such thing as black “Wall St.” just a couple of blocks of black-owned businesses. A black kid did do assaulting a white girl which led to blacks kicking off a race war in Tulsa. You know, to be factual.

Girls and women don’t “get pregnant.” They are impregnated. By men. Quick reminder: Ovulation is involuntary. Ejaculation is voluntary.
