I’m baaaaaaaack! After one long month of doing everything I could to get my account back and tearing my hair out, some lovely people put me directly in touch with X Support staff who could actually do something about it. I am now in control of this account again. If you’re not quite ready to trust that this is actually me, how can I convince you? You’re welcome to reply with a question that only you and I would know the answer to and I’ll do my best to keep up. Or, you can believe the TERFs and male allies who are likely to vouch for me soon. It is infuriating. Enraging. I have NEVER asked another woman to ‘help’ me with my make up in a toilet. No woman has ever asked me, but that’s less surprising. What does it even MEAN? Holding the mascara wand steady? These men have regressive and insulting fantasies about ‘being a woman’ and I am told I may not criticise or push back. Why? Why is that exactly? I do not subscribe to your ideology, which means I do not believe in ‘cis’ and ‘trans’ in the essentialist way you apply the terms. I don’t believe anyone is ‘born in the wrong body’ because I don’t believe in gendered essences or souls. Gender dysphoria exists, as does fetishism. As far as human rights go, a man’s motivation for presenting as a woman is irrelevant. Society either agrees they’re all women if they want to be, or that they’re men with diverse motivations, none of which entitle them to women’s spaces.
