தொகுதி மறுவரையறைச் சட்டத் திருத்தத்தை ஒன்றிய பா.ஜ.க. அரசு மொத்தமாகத் திரும்பப் பெற வேண்டும்! தமிழ்நாட்டின் அரசியலுக்கு மிக முக்கியமான நாள் இன்று. தொகுதி மறுவரையறைக்கு எதிரான நம் போராட்டங்களின் முடிவினை அறியப் போகும் நாள். நம்முடைய கடும் எதிர்ப்பினையும் போராட்டத்தினையும் தொடர்ந்து, தொகுதி மறுவரையறையால் தமிழ்நாட்டின் தொகுதி அளவு குறையாது என மாண்புமிகு பிரதமர் அவர்களும் உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அவர்களும் நேற்று நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் வாய்மொழி உத்தரவாதம் அளித்துள்ளனர். ஆனால், சொல் ஒன்று – செயல் வேறு என்பதாக, இவர்கள் தாக்கல் செய்துள்ள சட்டமுன்வடிவு முழுக்க முழுக்க ஏமாற்றுத் திட்டமாக இருக்கிறது. இதை நம்பவும் முடியாது, ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவும் முடியாது எனத் திட்டவட்டமாக நிராகரிக்கிறோம். இந்தச் சட்டமுன்வடிவில் தொகுதி மறுசீரமைப்பு ஆணையத்துக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அதிகாரங்கள் மூலம், இவர்கள் நினைத்தால் நினைத்த நேரத்தில், நினைத்த முறையில், எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் எதிர்காலத்தில், இவர்களுக்குச் சாதகமான வகையில், இந்திய மாநிலங்களின் தொகுதியளவை மாற்றியமைத்துக் கொள்வதற்கான வழிவகைகள் இந்தக் கருப்புச் சட்டத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. பெரும் சூழ்ச்சியை உள்ளடக்கியதாக இந்தச் சட்டமுன்வடிவு இருக்கிறது. அவசரகதியில் இதனை நிறைவேற்றக் கூடாது. ஒன்றிய அரசு இதனை முழுவதுமாகத் திரும்பப் பெற வேண்டும். எண்ணிக்கை பலம் இருக்கிறது என்ற திமிரில், எங்களின் எதிர்ப்பை மீறி இதனை நிறைவேற்றினால், அதற்கான விளைவுகளைத் தமிழ்நாட்டில் நீங்கள் சந்திக்க வேண்டியிருக்கும். நேரு அவர்கள் இந்தியைத் திணிக்க மாட்டோம் என்றார், இருந்தவரை அந்த உறுதிமொழியைக் காப்பாற்றினார். ஆனால், தற்போதைய ஒன்றிய ஆட்சியாளர்களோ மாநில உரிமைகளைக் காப்பாற்றுவோம் எனச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே அதனைச் சில்லு சில்லாக நொறுக்கும் வேலையில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர். நாம் கோருவது, முன்னாள் பிரதமர்கள் இந்திரா காந்தி அவர்களும், வாஜ்பாய் அவர்களும் அரசியலமைப்புச் சட்டத்திலேயே திருத்தம் செய்து, 25 ஆண்டுகளுக்குத் தொகுதி மறுசீரமைப்பை நிறுத்தி வைத்ததைப் போன்ற சட்டப் பாதுகாப்பு. #WithdrawDelimitationBill: தமிழ்நாட்டின் குரலுக்கு ஒன்றிய பா.ஜ.க. அரசு செவிசாய்த்தே ஆக வேண்டும்! #SayNoToNDA #TNWillFightTNWillWin #Delimitation #வெல்வோம்_ஒன்றாக #WithdrawDelimitationBill Today is a defining moment in Tamil Nadu’s political history. It is the day we will see the outcome of our relentless resistance against delimitation. In the face of our sustained protests and uncompromising opposition, the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister have, on the floor of Parliament, offered a verbal assurance that Tamil Nadu’s representation will not be reduced. But their words say one thing, their actions reveal another. The Bill they have introduced is nothing but a calculated deception. We reject it outright. It cannot be trusted. It will not be accepted. The sweeping powers granted to the Delimitation Commission under this Bill make one thing clear. At any time, in any manner they choose, they can alter the representation of states to suit their political interests. This so called legislation is a carefully crafted trap, loaded with dangerous intent. This Bill must not be rushed through in haste. The Union Government must withdraw it in full. If they attempt to bulldoze it through Parliament, emboldened by the numbers they have stitched together, and in complete disregard of our opposition, they will face the consequences in Tamil Nadu. Jawaharlal Nehru assured that Hindi would never be imposed, and he honoured that promise as long as he lived. The present Union regime, however, speaks of protecting state rights even as it systematically dismantles them piece by piece. What we demand is clear. The same constitutional safeguard that former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee provided by freezing delimitation through constitutional amendment must be restored. The Union BJP Government must listen to the voice of Tamil Nadu.
