Folks, I shared the below video in nearly the moments it happened: I was informed that ICE/DHS was touring a potential “mega detention facility” in south #KansasCity and decided to stop by. As I was observing, from my truck at a taxpayer subsidized facility; I was swarmed by ice agents. They attempted to threaten to have me arrested for trespassing if I didn’t leave; however they blocked me in both the front and rear of my truck. I refused to get out until a supervisor came over. I identified myself and my position, and asked what was going on. I confirmed they are looking to place a 7,500 bed facility in this or a similar building in the area from the agents. Local Electeds must step up, and engage. We cannot sit ideally by and let things happen in our community. Today, I put my and my families security on the line. What are YOU willing to sacrifice for democracy in America? 🇺🇸 🇲🇽

The NFL is not rigged and the refs aren’t cheating for the Kansas City Chiefs. STOP COMPLAINING AND WHINING ABOUT IT. Your favorite team just isn’t good enough to beat the Chiefs in the championship rounds of the game. Here Are the Chiefs Stats: -17th in % of scoring drives aided by penalties for a first down in 2024 -8th in roughing the passer penalties called on defenders hitting Mahomes since 2018 -Tied for 1st in offensive holding penalties called against them with 31 in 2024 -Tied for 2nd fewest unnecessary roughness calls in their favor in 2024 with 2 -32 of 61 penalties called against the Chiefs in their last 9 playoff games have been when Patrick Mahomes was not on the field. So it’s not a Mahomes bias. I have seen some in the playoffs based stats that truly amount to the Chiefs being a more disciplined and fundamentally sound team than their more aggressive counterparts trying to knock them off. At the end of the day if you want to beat the Chiefs, you have to stop beating yourself and committing league backed and reviewed penalties in the championship moments of the game. It is with a heavy heart that Sheriff announces the death of K9 Kodak. Kodak was injured during the foot pursuit of a suspect from a stolen vehicle on Oct 5. During the track, K9 Kodak got entangled in razor wire that was concealed by brush, and sustained severe lacerations.
