It would be nice to have a custom dashboard of options info on my desktop, instead of running scans in TOS. Can I figure out how to program in python, tap into the @TDAmeritrade api for data to run the dashboard on my desktop?? I have zero programming experience! lol..let's see

After the 20 crosses under the 50, with 3 negative days in a row. Average not looking so good for 2weeks out but overwhelmingly positive 3 months out $SPY

@aw_trades_ @dataeyes_ man...i had this issue. Found a strat with 80% win rate, PF2. Thought it was too good to be true. After many backtests in different ways, I finally found out that it was using TP/stop same bar. When I excluded that, it became unprofitable. Hours wasted :/

Great question and yes, this is a known limitation of OHLCV backtesting from what I've read. Also, long winded answer but it's exciting to talk to someone with genuine questions!!!! The intra-bar sequence problem: if both TP and SL are hit within the same bar, you can't know which came first without tick data. It's real and I've been trying to figure out it's impact on the data. Why I believe it's minimal here: 1. The primary exit is a 3.0x ATR trailing stop, not TPs. The backtest data showed TPs barely get hit, the trail exits almost everything first. So the TP vs SL same bar conflict rarely occurs. 2. The optimal timeframe is 10m. The signal logic runs on 10m bars where each bar represents 10 minutes of price action. At that resolution, same bar TP+SL conflicts are much rarer than on daily bars. 3. Entries are at candle close (confirmed, no repainting). Not mid bar assumptions. 4. Commission and slippage are NOT included, which I'll note when publishing. Subtracting ~$5 round trip per trade still leaves the edge intact. Is it perfect? No. Tick level backtesting would be more precise. But for a trailing stop dominant strategy on 10m bars, the OHLCV resolution is sufficient to validate the edge exists. The out of sample results holding up on unseen data confirms that Appreciate the real question and will be doing even deeper analysis on this too since it's a new area for me to explore

773,000 bars of NQ data. 2+ years of 1-minute candles. Thousands of parameter combinations. I'm running a full systematic backtest of Bloop across every sensitivity, timeframe, TP/SL setting, and session filter. No cherry picked screenshots. No hand picked trades. Just data. Results coming soon :)) This was the quick mode test to validate testing accuracy

Let’s clear up squat depth since there seem to be so many powerlifting experts on here lol Joe’s depth here is what’s called parallel (where the hip crease is at or just below the top of the knee) This would be white lighted (aka good lift) by judges in a meet THIS is the standard for powerlifting and ass to grass is not required in a meet This is what we’re aiming for if strength is our primary goal with the squat movement Now… Then you got bodybuilding depth aka “Ass To Grass” that can be seen in my photo Where your hamstrings touch your calves This version is more for overall leg development and building muscle At the end of the day, understand the two differences and what their purposes are for Quit being the guy that’s saying “not depth” when 1) you clearly have no fucking idea what you’re talking about 2) you don’t even squat yourself so shut the fuck up Hope this helps

Here is part 2 of my plumbing training videos created by @NotebookLM. My goal is to show that it is now possible to create AI training videos on pretty much anything. These will be incredibly useful for apprentices and hobbyists. In the age of AI, you can learn and do anything!

Nice illustration of why the most beautiful 1% of women take dates via matchmakers. It’s not because male clients are “rich,” though that’s often true, and doesn’t hurt… It’s because male clients actually want relationships.

@Tg_Moscow @luxemiaa Actually it is. That's exactly what it is. If a partner is not willing to change their behavior to make their partner happier, then everything breaks. People don't realize that marriage is truly a merging of two independent beings into one. BOTH have to change who they are

Also, why does a 10 sound like she has to become softer, quieter, more accommodating while he just gets to feel better? That’s not growth, that’s a rebrand of imbalance. Real partnership isn’t one person adjusting their behavior daily to earn a higher score. It’s two people doing the uncomfortable work of being honest before it turns into a silent audit.

He scored their marriage a 6 out of 10. She didn't argue. She didn't get angry. He said: "Six." She didn't get offended. Didn't ask "why not 10." Didn't leave the room. Didn't throw a tantrum. She asked: "What does a 10 look like?"

I made a "should I be trading?" dashboard. Scores the market across 5 pillars: - volatility (put/call ratio, vix, positioning) - trend (spx vs 20d, 50d, 200d ma's) - breadth (advancing/declining, nas highs/lows) - momentum (sector leaders, laggards, % participation) - macro (fomc, rates, geopolitics) Each is weighted, combined, and averaged to give me a score for the current environment. Basically a yes, no, or stay small. Sometimes I just need someone (or something) to remind me to stay out. Happy to share the prompt if you guys want it...but I made this with @perplexity_ai's Computer.

Matchmaking client, 46, 6’2, exited tech founder, is looking for someone super specific. Complex national search. My team grinds 100+ hours to get me on the phone with one potential match. We’re chatting, and… She’s perfect. I start describing him, and she’s interested!!! Then I send his photo. “Oh, we went on a date 2 years ago. He’s sweet, but not for me. Have any other clients?” ☹️☹️☹️

@_sierratrading lol great detective work! SC - can you guys please just set the default to what a user would typically expect an action to accomplish, so we don't have to go through an extensive menu selection to find the setting? Thank you in advance.
