@wholemars I know of a very large payments processor whose network went down once due to an expired cert. Moral of the story: SSL issues can happen to anyone 😀

Finally figured out the damn SSL certificate issue. God damn I woke up so depressed today because why am I not able to figure out a simple SSL certificate issue? Am I really that stupid? Turns out that when my code was configuring the cars for fleet telemetry, it had a hard coded certificate chain pinned that it was passing up to the cars to validate. Because I replaced the SSL cert but didn't replace the pinned CA values the certificate wasn't validating properly Not that anyone cares, but I feel much better now. Service back online
