The Texans will still need to look for a Derek Barnett replacement which is likely coming through the draft imo.
Houston plays their top DEs near the least amount and rotates heavily so the 350 snaps Barnett gave you at a high reserve level still need to be replaced.
Horton & Byrd are currently the projected 3rd & 4th edge rushers (assuming Hall is more of a IDL option) but both of them only have one year left on their deal and haven’t produced much for Houston when on the field.
I would key on eye on the day 2 edge rushers.

While Hendrickson’s price remains astronomical as PR mentions. Per sources, K’Lavon Chaisson’s market is settling in around $10 mil per year. It will be interesting to see if Bucs move on Chaisson now or wait to see if his or Hendrickson’s number comes down more.
