Devastated mum Wendy Duffy ends her life today at Swiss suicide clinic because she cannot live without her only son. Wendy Duffy, 56, a former care worker from the West Midlands, is travelling to the Pegasos clinic in Basel today to end her life. Her only son Marcus, 23, died four years ago after choking on a cherry tomato while asleep on the sofa. Wendy says the grief has become completely unbearable and no amount of therapy or medication has helped. She has paid £10,000 of her life savings for the procedure and said “I want to die, and that’s what I’m going to do. My life; my choice.” Her family support her heartbreaking decision even though they are devastated to lose her. She has asked for her ashes to be scattered at the park bench where she used to sit every night talking to Marcus.

I would be delighted to get Elliot Anderson in the summer but for the rumoured transfer fee of £100m+ I would look at bringing In Mateus Fernandes and Carlos Baleba whose combined fees would probably be the same as Anderson's. 21 and 22 years of age combined with Mainoo, 21

@jphardie84 You don’t need to make the rules to know if a decision is wrong or not. On your first half performance you deserved the win. Second half against 10 you were dreadful and we nearly got a draw. I’d have said Calvert-Lewin was more of a bitch for complaining about it

Absolutely shocking performance that was from United. Second half was horrendous. That Newcastle side is absolutely dog shit as well. Still, only Chelsea have gained ground on us this week and it’s in our hands. Massive 3 pts for the horse punchers in their battle for top 10

That performance is why you can’t be reactionary with all the ‘Carrick in’ talk. He’s done well and he should certainly be in the conversation but it is a world of difference galvanising a team devoid of confidence to challenging for the biggest of titles.
