Devastated mum Wendy Duffy ends her life today at Swiss suicide clinic because she cannot live without her only son. Wendy Duffy, 56, a former care worker from the West Midlands, is travelling to the Pegasos clinic in Basel today to end her life. Her only son Marcus, 23, died four years ago after choking on a cherry tomato while asleep on the sofa. Wendy says the grief has become completely unbearable and no amount of therapy or medication has helped. She has paid £10,000 of her life savings for the procedure and said “I want to die, and that’s what I’m going to do. My life; my choice.” Her family support her heartbreaking decision even though they are devastated to lose her. She has asked for her ashes to be scattered at the park bench where she used to sit every night talking to Marcus.

Some came from Mars, Malona and other star systems long ago. The Japanese and Chinese came here 25000 years ago.

Our actions could speed up or slow down Creation's evolution. I haven't come up with an opinion on whether the speed of evolution is important or not.
