@DynastyZoltanFF Chart seems unclear to me. I'm not sure what the title means or what the vertical axis is measuring. Though the axis may be more clear based on title clarity. Any/a?

Three of these are supposedly franchise QBs, while the youngest, JJ McCarthy, is forever a bust? I see early inconsistency followed by growth for all but Dart, who started out hotter but plateaued. All 4 deserve to be QB1's and get more starts. The Vikings are failing JJM.

I don’t normally do stuff like this, but allow me a personal post. We went to @WaltDisneyWorld on vacation recently. My 9 year old daughter has a stuffed sheep (“Sheepie”) that she has had since she was born. It’s her most treasured possession. We left our room one day to go to the parks and when we returned housekeeping had come and Sheepie was nowhere to be found. We did not take her out of the room and know for certain she was on the bed when we left. It was an honest mistake, an accident. We are fairly certain she was mistakenly wrapped up with the bedding when they changed the sheets. We notified @DisneyParks and our resort immediately and followed the Lost and Found protocol. Not only has Sheepie not been found, we had to harass the front desk to get them to care, respond, or attempt to track down what happened. Their attempts to rectify their mistake have been lackluster to say the least. This is 100% their mistake and their handling of it has been quite poor. We fully realize with all the stuff going on in the world that this may seem small to many, but it’s quite big to a 9 year old child. My daughter asked about Sheepie every few hours while we were there and broke down crying during our last night in the park when she realized we weren’t getting her back before we left. If anyone is on TikTok and would like to help you can use this link to like, share, and/or comment so we can get some attention from @WaltDisneyWorld and @DisneyParks. Or you can RT this tweet if you wish to do so. Thanks everyone ❤️ #FindSheepie tiktok.com/t/ZThWE3BW7/

It was brought to my attention that, on today's show, I mentioned Henry Ruggs when talking about first-rounders and how they performed after having played three years in the league. He only played two. This wasn't a data error, to be clear - what was meant to be captured there was that the player had a chance to play three years. Eg, he was drafted before 2024. A listener was worried that the rest of the data was then incorrect, but it's not. (This is how careful I have to be on every single episode.)

@Xfinity what's the point of having an estimated time for service restoration if you're not even going to be close? I told my employer I could WFH based on your time of 8:30am. 3 hours later and still no service, estimated "as soon as possible".

@DrewDavenportFF For point 6, does this mean he could possibly end up facing a harsher penalty from the car crash incident? I think you're saying yes, and it's more possible if there's more evidence of the DV?

Rashee Rice is facing more off-the-field issues, and this time it’s related to allegations of Domestic Violence. As I said earlier today, I don’t have my laptop so it’s harder to dig, research, and make this exhaustive, but let’s hit what I think are the major issues. Here’s your #FFLegalUpdate. [**Important Note: Domestic Violence is an awful, brutal reality for far too many women. Things are never simple for those involved. Please be considerate and empathetic in your comments on this situation. Further, remember that my job is to assess the case dispassionately from a legal and fantasy football perspective. That does not detract from the seriousness of the conversation.**] 1 - To my knowledge there are no criminal charges currently pending. The allegation broke because of an Instagram post alleging years of abuse. 2 - The first question that will be explored: What can be proven? Have there been prior contacts with police or the courts for these two individuals? Often the police in a jurisdiction will be familiar with a situation prior to arrests or charges. Are there prior 911 calls, calls to police, Field Interview Cards, or police reports? 3 - Are there contemporaneous conversations that corroborate any of the allegations or the pictures? 4 - The NFL is not bound by evidentiary constraints like the courts. If they have credible evidence they can act with less restriction. 5 - However, placing Rice on the Exempt list is a different conversation than a formal disciplinary action. The level of evidence backing the claims is a huge skeleton key to the whole thing. 6 - Does this matter vis a vis his other case? YES! It absolutely can. That doesn’t mean it *will*, but usually in diversion or deferred adjudication cases the base requirement is to have no new contact with law enforcement. Can we classify *old* allegations as being violations of *newer* restrictions? That’s an argument his defense team will likely have to make. Allegations not backed by proof or police contact are problematic to revoke his probationary status. If you bring an IG post to a hearing where I’m defense counsel without more behind it I’d have a field day with that. Again, refer to #2 and #3. 7 - Rice’s problem now becomes the compounding of the two issues. If these allegations happen with no prior case? I’d say almost certainly it won’t resonate with the NFL. But things are piling up. Combine that with the NFL claiming they care about DV issues now. 8 - The thing we don’t ever see is the behind the scenes information the NFL is getting. I always tell my clients - the police won’t act if you don’t make them. The first call might not produce charges, but the next one might, or the next one…my question is, what kind of footprint has she left over the years about this stuff that the league can hook into? We will find out when they act (or don’t). 9 - Women generally don’t come forward against famous/powerful/rich men unless there is something there. I’m NOT judging her veracity, I’m saying one usually begets the other. It’s HARD to come forward. I tend to believe these things are hard to fabricate, and false allegations are not as prevalent as people believe. The NFL could feel similarly. 10 - In the end I think the NFL will be loathe to act without more. That’s a precedent issue and it’s a big one. But, Rice’s history and the DV component may force their hand. It’s early to say what will happen, but I’d lean slightly towards him not seeing a significant suspension from the league for this allegation absent more evidence. However, he’s headed down a path that makes anything possible. As a Dynasty manager, if I don’t hear the right things from Rice soon I’d be selling at the first possible moment I see a rebound in value. Thank for reading my #FFLegalUpdate. Please RT if this helped you. Stay tuned for more as things develop.

@DrewDavenportFF Drew, one of your rules about auction drafts is you can't look at the actual dollar amount paid later. If kyren was nominated first maybe he would have gone for more. And maybe if you were in on kyren here, maybe the other manager was prepared to go to $40

Another lesson I had to re-learn again this year - patience is often the best medicine for underperforming players. It's not dogma, but it's instructive. In King's Classic I'm often forced to stick with players who are disappointing when I'd be pivoting off of them in shallower leagues. Chase Brown and D.J. Moore were instrumental in winning me a title and if I had moved off them it would've cost me. A second part of this is insidious too - At the auction in early August I was trying to nominate a RB for my RB1 that I thought would be cheaper than some of the other RBs around him in expected value. I nominated Chase Brown and got him for what I thought was a good deal ($36). A few rounds later Kyren Williams went for quite a bit less ($27) but I already had Brown and didn't want to pay for Kyren too. I was smoldering a bit at how I had lost the auction dollars for comparable players in Brown v. Kyren ($9). Yeah I liked Brown more, but $9 more? In the end it was much better that I had Brown. Turns out I was right. But WAS I right?? In the moment was it the right play to pay $9 more for Brown? I don't know, but when he started so badly I was really crushed because I had James Cook ($21 *chef's kiss*) and figured I would have a dynamic 1-2 punch. That's exactly what I ended up having down the stretch and it was the main reason I won it all. Patience is often HUGE in our game and we don't talk enough about it. Sometimes the moves you *don't* make are the best ones.
Andy Holloway@AndyHolloway

A reminder that it's a long season. From dud to true league winner. 5 TD's over the last 2 weeks. Chase Brown.

Ricky Pearsall 2024 #ReceptionPerception profile 🔥 Some highlights: - 69.7% success rate vs. man coverage - 82.7% success rate vs. zone (83rd percentile 👀) - 75% success rate vs. press Pearsall overcame an understandable slow start after recovering from a damn gunshot to absolutely dominate against man and press coverage in the final month of the season. Even more important, it's been clear that he's ticketed for a role in the 49ers offense, one which we haven't seen from any of the prior starters at WR. One of, if not my favorite, breakout picks this year. Get into all of that in the full profile: receptionperception.com/ricky-pearsall…

If AR is one play away, you roll with him and let him grow. DJ is who he is and won't have more growth. AR has sat and watched plenty of games, likely will only grow now with game experience. Strongly disagree with Steichen here
Mike Chappell@mchappell51

Shane Steichen insisted Daniel Jones will be Colts starter for entire season. No indication there will be a short leash. Said he met with QBs. Said he told Anthony Richardson he's only a play away. Still room for AR to grow.
