@thosethatcan @miss_mcinerney Younger than your child I think - but we got a relatively inexpensive men’s suit wich was the colour wanted etc then took it to an alteration place who tweaked it to a better fit. Will depend on body shape for feasibility

Returning to see if my fashionista posts still work @miss_mcinerney The daughter who didn't want sequinned swimming costumes is back and after a cool suit for prom. Velvet and slinky not required. Nor are badly fitting men's suits. HIT ME with your recommendations.

@Sheena2907 I’ve delivered AQA a few times with some different size groups. I really like the course and assessment, you do have to keep on top of the admin though! There are also some good supporting resources available

Does anyone have experience of doing AQA and Edexcel entry level? What are the main differences? Is there a preference?

Why do the people who wrote the exam timetable hate us this year? First GCSE science paper in the afternoon after a full cohort morning exam. Mean.

@MBDscience Maths not science- I often have this group at this point in the year I’m starting strategically picking high leverage topics. I do a lot of drilling of 1 marker questions . Then interleaving of concepts and depending on the group profile choral response, gap fill tasks

Advice needed: What would you do if you taught a very low attaining year 11 class who have incredibly poor recall of prior topics and very low resilience? NB: The answer cannot be "more retrieval practice".

@oldandrewuk We have a scheme of work that gives objectives in one format and a T&L policy that wants them in another so I use AI to rewrite them for me

🧵 18 years of timetabling and why I'll soon stop 🧵 Timetabling is where school priorities and values come to life. Over the years, I’ve seen it evolve from manual grids to AI-driven potential. Here’s how we approach it now and why collaboration is at the heart of the process.

Anon post: The DHT is changing responsibilities and I want to put myself forward to take some of his responsibilities. In particular the time table. We are a big secondary school and I assume this is really complex. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you
