@MrBishop_Maths @mathsjem @1stclassmaths @taylorda01 @MrMattock We've had a similar debate.. Thinking of going back to mathswatch which is a quarter of the price. Although like both and sparx is nice for the personalisation and automatic setting etc.

Thoughts people…currently using sparx maths at current school for homework. Thinking of changing back to Dr Frost to make it more personalised (and to save some pennies). Just wanted some thoughts? @mathsjem @1stclassmaths @taylorda01 @MrMattock

@dirtyfrog @nectar Exactly the same experience for me! Shockingly poor. Had to ring the customer service line to try sort.. Was a little more helpful. Have nectar been hacked? Lots of people same issue with 1000 points going in diff town?

@nectar Someone has fraudulently used my card to redeem 1000 points today in London when I've been sat on my sofa in Nottingham. Online chat refusing to help because they reckon I'm not giving the right security word. I've no memory of even setting one.

@nectar hi I've just seen some others with have the same issue. I've had points redeemed which were not me! From a random store in a different town?

@BenyohaiPhysics Interesting analysis.. 👍.. Although the national results plotted won't show the KS3 number of subject.. That would be interesting to see, just in terms of how narrow the 5 year journey is for some students and how it impacted p8

@MathsImpact Agree building confidence is important, allowing it to be accessible for those that find it a struggle at all grades. But was surprised, thought there would be a couple more tricky problems across papers. Many students did relatively well, pushed boundaries to all time high!

AQA Maths foundation boundaries were much higher than before, but that's OK. I think a grade 5 student should be able to do around 80% of the exam paper, otherwise it's too hard. That brings it in line with the expectations for a grade 8 student on higher tier.

@JP_Timetabling I've also gone the other way unfortunately.. All the way back to the model again due to staffing gaps 🙈 I'm hoping to be in better position within 2 weeks 🤞

Really clear and persons distinction on that document of symbolic algebraic manipulation vs symbolic calculus is really clear. We were told no for that same model but we should have been able to. @pullinecon I've got bit holes staffing also.. May half term is key timetabling time for me but too many holes to do anything 🤔 just have to wait and see. Got 3 diff nova models set up but no idea what combination of teachers we will be able to recruit from current open ads 🙈

@MrShepstone I'll be solid on it from may half term I think.. Will have 🤞 it fits and hopefully aim to be done early July. Well done on the great start

@MrShepstone That's helpful for food for thought thanks.. My end goal is similar aim to be done for 2 weeks before, usually leaving stuff like rooming and rota's for final week. Had options late this year so just wrapping that up and now have blocks and will start model, align staffing
