@ThrillaRilla369 We are the number one developed nation where women die during labor. Also, my bill from the hospital was 700k. Women shouldn’t have to risk dying or going broke to have a kid 😂💀
@Mollyploofkins This is just getting insane. I seriously wonder if he knows he is lying or if the people under him are feeding him bullshit and he believes it. Do they think that if they keep trying to push this bullshit, people will eventually believe it? Regardless of what they see every day?
Trump: "Our economy is roaring, factory construction is way up, consumer confidence is way up, business investment is more than triple compared that of just a short time ago. Nobody can believe it. And nobody can believe the $18 trillion number that we gave you."
Jonny Quest was unique in many ways, and it's truly one of a kind in Saturday morning TV.
It was twice the budget of The Flintstones, and every other cartoon, full orchestra, characters died violently, the art was more nuanced. Sponsors hated it, and it lost money.
@BarbellFi What treasuries pay out yearly interest, you buy them at the price less the accrued interest over the term, and the bond pays out the face value after it matures, municipal bonds maybe??
I’m 36 & want to retire now
30 year treasury yield is 5%
My annual expenses are $50k
I can buy $1 million of these bonds
Get $50k/year to cover my expenses
For 30 years
Get my $1 million back in 30 years
Then at 65 collect social security
I’m strongly considering this 😳
Battle Star Galactica was one TV show I really loved watching as a kid. Every week I watched it without fail, but the Cylons did freak me out a little.
I been a Mets fan for over 40 years. I’ve seen some really bad teams over the years. I never hated any Mets team no matter how bad. I am beginning to hate this team. It doesn’t have an identity, no chemistry, character or heart. Depressing to watch tbh. Stearns changed the core of this team. This is on him. #LGM
If we had 13 months instead of 12, every month would be exactly 28 days, the 1st would always Monday and the 28th would always be a Sunday
Every month would have exactly 4 weeks instead 4.257 and we would properly align ourself with the cycle of moon
I don't understand the boomers that hoard all their wealth from their kids.
I have a good buddy that's struggling.
Married with a few kids.
He's smart. Graduated university with great grades, got hired by a good company, & did everything "right."
He got laid off over a year ago & told me he's sent 10,000 resumes in with no job offerings.....
He's working side gigs but his family is stressed.
His folks are retired & in their 70's.
His dad recently told him he's got north of 15 million invested!!!
My buddy said he didn't say anything & didn't want to be disrespectful but it perplexed him.
Why wait until you die to gift it to your kids?!
It's worth more now helping out in my opinion that in 20 years when you die & you give 25 million to a 55 year old that's also then likely set & not stressed.
You can gift like what 16k a year tax free too.
It's their money, & when my folks sat my sister & I down for the inheritance talk we both said we don't want/expect anything you raised us well so do you!!!!
But, I guarantee if I was in this guys shoes my folks would offer help.
I don't understand the logic not to.
@mariodian@0xleegenz and THAT is a big reason people aren’t paying off older mortgages right now. For newer home buyers, the payments make tons of sense.
Realizing a 30 year mortgage doesn’t actually mean 30 years:
- 1 extra monthly payment per year can cut 5 years off
- 2 extra payments per year can cut about 8 years off
- 3 extra payments per year can cut about 11 years off
Bank won't tell you this
@Lostvoyageur@love4writenword@0xleegenz In the monthly example , you are lowering your principal a little each month (and paying less interest) and winding up paying $2400 per year. In your lump sum, the principal is only lowered at the end of the of year, so no effect until then. Monthly would be better.
@zmiller716@0xleegenz It depends on the loan, but a standard 30 year mortgage, yes. For other loans you may need to designate that you are paying principal with the extra payment or they could just apply it to a future payment, which doesn’t really help interest wise.
Baby boomers aren't selling their homes & why would they?
They paid $100,000 for a home 25+ years ago, owe $0 & have $500k+ of equity.
"Downsizing" means they'd need to buy something for $450k + take on a 6.5% loan.
Many won't move & this will keep inventory low.
@KeruboSk Boomers great grandparents would be from late 1800s, so plenty of people alive today have known people born in the 1800s. If you’re 60-90 years old now, you probably did.
@miles_commodore First thought is what professions are they, and did their parents not save ANYTHING for their college, that they have $335k in student loan debt?
From The Dave Ramsey Show.
This couple has a total of just under $1,000,000 in debt, here’s the breakdown.
- Mortgage $210,000
- Student Loans $335,000
- Credit Cards $136,000
- Personal Loans $44,000
- Car Loans $35,000
Their household income is $230,000.
Your thoughts.
@EddiePresti_ Just wait until Twitter turns on the hitting coach. Another supposed to be the hotshot analytics-driven new school coach and no one has said a word yet. Chavez was tarred and feathered at this point last season. Gonna be so funny when the morons spend 48 hrs calling for his job
@MelissaCarbal14 Mendoza isn’t the problem. The GM is the problem. It’s obvious that blowing up the core didn’t really change anything if you give us this lineup and defense.
Reporter: Did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ?
Trump: It wasn't a depiction. I did post it and I thought it was me as a doctor. And had to do with red cross as a red cross worker, which we support and only the fake news could come up with that one.
